Thanks very much for writing these up as always Rubic!

To clarify and answer some things i saw after the stream:

“Will the trap telekinesis spell work on crystalised traps?” As far as im aware crystalise collects and resets the trap itself already

“Does the Ice Plateau teletab still have a wildy warning?” yes, you get a warning when breaking it

To clarify also the sift soil spell doesn’t guarantee a material. I was getting lots because i was level 120 and had the outfit etc.. It should give materials based on your level/boost just like how it is currently in game with the screening station/auto screener.

Finally to reiterate on what we said on stream, what we showed off were only the new stuff coming with this update. On Monday you’ll get to see the rest of the various QoL improvements we made to some of the existing spells as well as a couple bugfixes we made on the way!

Can you clarify what you mean by this?

We’ve made no changes the drop table for crystal chests and i tried a bunch of crystal keys in Prif on my personal account and the drops are all exactly as expected. They also match up with the wiki’s documented drops.

Hi all, further to Mod Poerkie’s comment - this has now been hotfixed and you should be able to use the globetrotter outfit set effect as expected. As this is a hotfix, you will need to unequip/equip the outfit once again before it takes effect. 🙂

Oh no this was direct copy-paste. I figured the best way to learn and get something to a near-complete (if not complete) stage in the space of a single gamejam was to reverse-engineer an already built product.

So i copy-pasted the map file then made my own adjustments.

When opening the GE via your PIN you can't close it via the 'ESC' key' unlike normal.

This is annoying and I hoped it would be fixed with the GE update, but nope, it got pushed off and forgotten. It's something small but it seems like a super easy fix.

It's not been forgotten since our last discussion, it was put on our system that very same day. But, its not a small/easy fix by any means either which is why it didn't come with the GE update.

I can only speak for some of it as a large piece of the update was handled by Mods Orion (dev) and Camel (qa) before being passed on to Ninja...

But, yeah it's a huge task. There are so many different objects to dev/test for example new, used, broken, augmented, dyed, dyed augmented, augments with item XP and perks etc. and every single 'change' of the systems required re-testing every single one of the above for all of the t90 and or t92 armours.

The changes made here touched so many different systems - invention, upgrades, make-x, smithing, cog toggles and so on so testing needed to be done there to. On top of that, re-testing of existing system to make sure they work as they should was also needed. A much bigger task than on paper for sure.

The in-game bug reporter is the right place to report bugs. I appreciate it may take some time before certain issues are addressed but it is the best place for us to track down issues.

This is a bug from Mondays update in that they shouldn’t be tradeable. There’s no way for anyone to trade them so the GE listing is essentially useless. Will be fixed on Monday 🙂

There are thousands of suggestions that have come through the dojo and our team is working their way through it! I don’t personally interact with the dojo submissions so i can’t tell you if they’ve been looked at or not, accepted or not etc. But if you’ve submitted it to the Dojo it will be in the list!
