After further investigations by the team it has become apparent that this is not caused by our new Chat filter but instead a result of us working hard to block spammers from causing disruption in our game.
We have now tweaked our systems slightly and for those who were curious and got a mute for saying the specific phrase above, can you please send me your display name so that we can reverse your mute tomorrow morning? If you are muted for anything else and like to appeal this, we suggest the following article.

Just had a look at where it is at and they seem to have continued working on it today.
The team did some more work which finished about an hour ago. Could you let me know if it's still happening now so that I know to chase it up further?

It's my own opinion, i always thought it was rubbish but gave it a go a week or two back and surprisingly found it enjoyable, I can see why it appeals to people.
Similarly I know there are privacy concerns of the app and I actively follow those conversations and will make a decision whether I want to continue using it.
Upon death, Hardcore Ironman accounts will automatically be downgraded to Ironman accounts. This will happen regardless of whether the account owns additional life items, such as the Jar of Divine Light.
This sounds like you will be converted to a regular ironman, even if you have "lives" left? Is that right?
only if you have no lives left you will be converted to a regular ironman. So additional lives will still work like they always have.
Does this mean we can log into dead hardcore ironman accounts now and have them be normal ones?
Edit: Also does this mean you no longer get more lifes?
Existing Dead HCIM should be able to login again and play as an ironman after today's update.

The likelihood of us ever doing another I would say is extremely low.
We know it is something quite a few of you would like to see us though, but it would have a huge impact on players who decide to return and no longer have their name. It would cause confusion, make the process of recovering their accounts more difficult and so on.
