Apparently there are still people using it. The amount is very tiny, but still big enough to warrant it's existence.
I do believe, there genuinely are people whose machines (not necessarily related only to hardware's age) have issues with NXT, but according to certain discussion i stumbled on a while ago suggests, that majority if not even all bots rely on the java client.
Supporting NXT isn't like supporting OSRS. We are able to support OSRS and RS3 because both are Java-based. NXT would require an entirely separate infrastructure - not just the client, but the scripts, and the SDN.
I can pm the link to that discussion, if you want. It's pretty enlightening stuff, and further makes one want that Java client is retired asap.

From the simple things like posing for pictures or alerting us about hidden updates, to massive things like the /wiki search, mechanics sharing (that perk calculator was a f**king ordeal!), and everything in between, he's been such an incredible ally for us at Jagex, and there's about a 0% chance we'd actually be working with them (and away from FANDOM!) without Shauny being Shauny. Well over half of the cool shit we've done in the last year wouldn't be possible without him.
The crazy thing is, working with us was nowhere near the top of his job description, and in the scheme of things, his work with the wiki might not even crack the top 10 of the wonderful stuff he's done for the game. He brought the same positive attitude and big-picture view to every community interaction, and then just outworked everyone...and everybody even tangentially related to the game felt special bec...

Please use the Forum moderation review (FMR) thread to report their misbehavior. Either I or another Jmod will review it and if deemed necessary take actions.
There seems to be an abuse of Mod power on this subreddit as well. As of recently, all MTX meme type posts are being removed shortly after being posted for no reason. What gives?

Emptying Gem bag in bank will not show the gems. Closing/Reopening the bank will show them.
Hey there, this is a known issue, thanks for letting us know however.
Running on Android mobile, I'm experiencing an odd bug where if i try to move an item to insert it between items in the bank, sometimes it'll insert the item in a completely random place in my bank.
For example, I was sorting charms in my 4th tab, but when i tried to insert green charms in the middle, it sent them to the middle of the infinity tab.
Reproduced this with multiple items trying to sort items. Worried the items straight up dissapeared, but luckily just ended up going where I didn't intend.
Can you please report a bug for this, this way we'll be able to take a look at your specific situation hopefully. We've not had other reports of this so far.

We've had a quick look ourselves and for us it is looking normal, can I ask you submit a bug report this way we get some more details as to what may cause this for your specifically.
This is intended behaviour, due to the way Java handles it it would cause a crash.
