We're heard the feedback regarding this and will be making changes to the freecam, however. it takes a bit of time because it's baked into the engine
Sorry if this has been asked already, but the news post states that its free for those who have premium membership. Does this include those of us that still have this years premium membership and don't want to be forced to re-buy another year way earlier just to take advantage of this?

It has always been the plan to add the new graphically update armor as part of a promotion. Hence it got updated in the first place.
I feel like this comment is taken out of context, I just wanted to make clear that it was not planned as an original update and then we decided to put it behind microtransactions. Which was what the OP of this thread had stated.
Things like these do make me and others less likely to reply to MTX related threads though. Because everything we say will often be twisted and used against us. While I was hoping we could talk about this just like we do in any other topic.

The reason this is a big deal is because they made an in house choice that instead of updating Virtus as a patch they decided to lock it behind a limited time paywall. Which begs the question what else that we want is being planned to be released via MTX instead of a simple update?

To address the question raised: We've put this out on our official forums, reddit & twitter (unsure about facebook) because it has a very time limited importance. The website is not the best solution for this and it would remain on there for days. As a result we put it on our forums.

Hey Mod Poerkie no hate or anything but wished you were more vocal on the mac issue yesterday. It was pretty bad not being able to log on for a long time until i randomly found the fix on reddit.
Thanks for the feedback. I've got a lot of priorities to juggle, I was also under the impression that mod dark was doing a great job on the communication around this. I will see if I can do something better next time!
