This was my log, too! 42kc pet gang. :)
I have 2.50 and a packet of quavers
Pickled onion monster munch.
Reported for RWT.
Buddy you're asking for a cameo video shoutout. The Laws of Gielinor can't help you here.
How much money do I have to pay you to get you to post a video of you screaming, “Uncle! My honor!!”
How much you got?
Now I'm just curious, why were 2 ticks never on the table?
I didn't like 2
I'd like to congratulate you, and make you aware of the fact that I had to make the decision between making the pool take 1 tick per reward fished, and 3 ticks.
I chose the latter.
Ever do any tick manip skilling? Very rhythm-based there. Personally I can't stand 3t anything, but 2t woodcutting is fun.
A little bit. 2t fishing was really fun and relaxing. 3t4g made me want to cry so I just stuck with volcanic mine. :)
Oh dang you are good. I could only ever do like 9-11 footers
If you had a workout and had a good time, you're winning :D
You got one of them fancy pads with the bar? Brining me back to my teen years.
I’ve been doing attempts at inferno for some time now so I just always play with the RuneLite metronome on. The beat is drilled into my brain. Getting close to beating it but it’s tough getting through two hours of flicking just to die to jads.
Oh I totally get ya. There's two parts to it, really.
Rhythm and manageability. It's all about the ability to build up a rhythm where you're making one decision every tick.
tick pray against jad
tick attack healer
tick chill
tick pray against next jad
tick attack next healer
tick chill
The problem always comes about when those requirements intertwine and you have to do too much at once. :D
This should be higher up! Whats your favourite, do you like Pop'n? 👏😱😎
Pop'n is far and out my favourite hand controller game, followed by Taiko, IIDX. But I'm all about pad based Stepmania on the daily. :)
I'm out of the loop on a lot of current rhythm games, not gonna lie :D
are u kaiden
Nah, I've always enjoyed IIDX when I've had the chance to go to arcades with it, but I tend to hover around playing 7-9s.
I'm a huge fan of rhythm games. The moment I figured out that Old School RuneScape is a rhythm game I stopped skilling and became a PvMer
OSRS is such a unique game because many of us play it for the nostalgia factor, but the way the game is played is so drastically different, where efficiency is greater than all. I sometimes wish more of us would take a page from our younger selves and stop and smell the roses sometimes, but I think this is just the outcome of the user bases average age getting drastically older and naturally more busy.
Similar to what you said, I think the game has done a fantastic job of taking elements of nostalgia, allowing for multiple playstyles with Ironman modes, and further elevating it with some well thought out gameplay.
You're completely right. :)
It's a bit of a consequence of adulthood in general to be honest! We all feel like we need to be 'achieving' more than anything, and spending our time wisely.
When I think back to my childhood, everything was full of wonder and intrigue. I used to zoom in on the faces of all the characters in games, look at various models and towns around games and just take things in. I used to search for game 'secrets' all the time.
I think life has room for both. And I'm itching to encourage the latter a bit more in OSRS :)
It was interesting when the game came out. In 2013 we were all here for the nostalgia. And it felt amazing walking among the crowd of people, and looking at guides on where the different areas of western Varrock were for different types of sales.
Back in 2014, we did want to have a more co-ordinated fashion of trading, but we didn't want the Grand Exchange. I suppose we chalked it up to not matching the nostalgic feeling we wanted. So we got the Trading Post! It was a nice implementation. But it was frustrating, the amount of people that'd bail on trades, having to hop worlds, difficulty finding an online/messageable seller. In the end, we just ended up voting the Grand Exchange in, in 2015. :)
It was always fascinating to see the game naturally evolve from pure nostalgia to 'the parts we want from way back then, plus the stuff we want now'.
It's a very pretty picture. You did such a good job! :)
damn, all those awards missed... here take this one as consolation
UwU
Dang it, I made this joke during playtests!
Some friendships transcend a lifetime. :)
Sorry for your loss, friend. <3
