@Jazzy_Gaming @discordapp If you want to upgrade those, seems reasonable that they ask for a boost as it'll be an additional cost on their end. Otherwise it's possible to go without. I just think it would be neat to upgrade for a cost w/o boosting :)

@Jazzy_Gaming @discordapp Mm I don't see it as a pay gate, more as an option. It's a free application, and you can make use of having your own server, voice chats, emojis etc all for free.

@Jazzy_Gaming @discordapp I think it's a great addition for communities to be honest but would love to see additional options to acquiring some of the perks without boosting. I'd like to use my boost on my large-community servers, but that'll mean the smaller private ones I'm in will miss out :(

The increased audio quality with @discordapp Server Boost is great but damn, it makes me not want to use voice on my other servers anymore lol. Any chance of being able to just flat upgrade a small server to have better audio quality for a cost :P?
