Your name is also a play on a Nazi salute. We strive to be a very accepting community and using discriminatory terms is grounds for a ban.

Just a suggestion - can you try disabling wallpaper engine (or whatever is causing the moving wallpaper)?
I have a sneaking suspicion that is what might be causing this.

I agree 100% This game is so fun I couldnt care less what launcher I have to use. Dauntless made a tough time in my life easier because I could play and enjoy myself. It was there and I didnt have to pay a cent. I might need to change my name, but im still me. I love Dauntless and that wont change. I hope the whiners do leave because theyre cramping my style.

This really resonates with me and was a big piece of why I got hooked on a lot of games in the past, which is what ultimately got me working in games in the first place. Hope everything is getting better for you my dude.

Just to piggyback on this /u/omgzbr00t4l, if you pick up one of the red roses that are spread around Ramsgate, you don't see your hunt pass progression go up?
I know The feeling i have to wait to 10 pm. I really want to know why an maintinance/update Will taken 3 hours to be finished. Other games i have played have been instant update deployment. Just download and get back in to it.
We usually try to couple any behind-the-scenes maintenance with a patch so that players don't have to have a downtime for no reason. This one we took the game down to deploy and test the hunt pass but we also had to upgrade some of our services stuff which is part of why it took so long.
We definitely don't want players to not be able to play cause that sucks so we are also doing work to have zero downtime/instant update deployments. We trialed it late last year and will be doing more this side of the year too!

Likely related to the matchmaking blip that was ongoing, after you create a character it loads you into the tutorial island.
