I can confirm that issues have delayed the Eredar/Gorefiend/Spinebreaker/Wildhammer to Hellscream/Zangarmarsh connection.

We intend to complete that connection during another maintenance window, as soon as possible. We’ll post about it here once we have it scheduled.

Tomorrow, Friday September 4, at 8:00 a.m. PDT / 11:00 a.m. EDT, we’re going to perform a stress test on the Pre-patch PTR.

Please make sure you select “Public Test Realm” in the Battle.net App, and log in at that time, and join Blizzard employees in Stormwind and Orgrimmar as we test the updates to the event that were made in this latest build.

With today’s Shadowlands Beta update, PvP trinkets are now available from Purveyor Zo’kuul, located in The Enclave in Oribos.

The Test Resource Distributor will now also grant Honor currency, and can be found in the Ring of Fates.

Additionally, all instanced PvP maps now have a scaling aura active to simulate end-game item level.

Hunters’ Coordinated Assault and Trueshot, as well as Monks’ Storm, Earth, and Fire have been added to the list of those abilities that are removed from the GCD.

These have now been hotfixed into the Beta.

Hello everyone.

In the next update to the Shadowlands Beta and PTR, we’ve taken a number of spells categorized as “burst cooldowns” off the global cooldown (GCD). Here are some more details on how we’ve come to this decision, as well as our intentions about this category of abilities.

By “burst cooldowns,” we mean spells like Avenging Wrath or Arcane Power whose primary purpose is to increase your damage or healing output every two to three minutes. The proper use of these major abilities can turn the tide of battle in your favor, and while they’re all mechanically powerful, our goal is that choosing to use them should also feel satisfying and epic. We look to abilities like Metamorphosis, Stormkeeper, and Void Eruption as successful examples of this, where animations, visual effects, and numerical payoff align to create a satisfying keypress that amply justifies incurring a global cooldown and creates a high point in the flow of combat.

Solid State Drive (SSD)
100GB available space
Or

100GB available space (depending on the performance of the drive, player experience may be impacted on HDD)

During a scheduled maintenance period planned for 3:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. AEST on Wednesday, September 2 (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, September 1), the following realm connection will be made:

  • The Dreadmaul and Thaurissan realms will join the Frostmourne realm.

During a scheduled maintenance period planned for 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PDT on Thursday, September 3, the following realm connections will be made:

To increase the impact of “Mortal Wounds” and similar healing reduction effects in PvE situations, we’re doubling the magnitude of these effects against non-player enemies. The value of these effects will remain the same against players.

Warrior, Hunter, Monk

  • Mortal Wounds now reduces healing taken by 50% (25% against players).

Rogue

  • Wound Poison now reduces healing taken by 8% per stack (4% against players).

In this week’s build of the Shadowlands Beta, health potions now have a 5 minute cooldown. Additionally, they are no longer limited to one use per encounter.

Similar to the recent change to combat potions, this is intended to make potion use less of a hassle, less expensive, and more decision-oriented in various situations throughout the game.

Health potions will continue to be in a separate cooldown category from Healthstones and combat potions. Additionally, the Kyrian Phial of Serenity is now on a separate cooldown from health potions, and has been updated to restore 20% health, with a 3 minute cooldown. However, Phial of Serenity is limited to one use per encounter.
