if VIT wins everything in 2022, then spending big will most probably be the way to go. if they fail, then teams will keep the more sustainable long-term approach.

I also believe EU is better protected against the crazy salary inflation than NA because we have access to ERL talents and it drives salaries down by providing teams with more options to build rosters.

  • @Caps, have you ever considered a career in acting after pro-gaming? You have such a unique style in all of the promo videos that really stands out.

  • @Jankos, Have you ever been tested for ADHD? Actually that's a personal question so don't answer, just know that you're a fan favorite and we all love you. Please never change.

  • @Brokenblade, what would you say the biggest differences are in terms of the culture between an LCS team and an LEC team?

  • @Flakked & Targamas, no specific questions for you, just welcome to the LEC :)

  • @Romain, is EU still greater than NA?

EU > NA, always has been.

Yes and Yes, not for 2021 tho.

First we just need the pandemic to go better....

To u/Khagneur and u/Raa4fk : what do your jobs entail exactly?

It's a dual job

  1. Be the interface between G2 the org and G2 the LoL team :
Make sure every department can generate the best value possible from the LoL crew and help us in the best way possible : content, legal, admin, finance, event, marketing.... Because G2 is a big org with a lot of people and pro-players have a limited of available time outside of training, the interaction needs to be efficient and smooth so everyone is happy. It's a really fun job.

  2. Make sure the boys survive through the day and smile at the end of it
A happy player is a performing player, so your job as manager is to make sure the boys are happy, talk to one another, are on time, smile, are rested, are fed, keep focus on training and performing, communicate, share their feelings, etc
I'm living inside the gaming house with everyone for maximum impact on their lives

Still incredibly shitty how Reginald allegedly abused the situation to his advantage but f**ked over everyone else when Bjergsen got the right Visa, that 2016 UOL was legit looking promising at the beginning of the year.

Happy to know Diamond is in a better place now despite how rough the last couple of years were for him.

I'm still salty about it tbh

Diamondprox was a pleasure to work with and such an inspiring human

the broadcast being "not good" due to it having to be produced from NA

Riot EU seemingly not having any form of autonomy to decide anything

the prospect of "EU franchising" being a 4 different region league instead of a single league (some based in UK, others in spain iirc)

and the very bleak ways EU teams had to go and look for sponsors due to how fractured "the market" was compared to NA

maybe someone else can explain this point better but it was something along the lines of EU teams having to go to a sub branch of a company and that sub branch wouldn't have access to the entire "sponsor budged", and the different languages probably didn't make it easier

that and while FNC (more importantly Caps) did really well at MSI, EU somehow completely botched rift rivals after going in incredibly cocky saying stuff that FNC and UOL wouldn't drop a single game or so...
