Anyone can join in; this just happened to be the best time for the team to participate; plus, we only offer US-East as the PTR region this time. We understand that the experience may not be the best for players in other regions but in future PTR tests, should we do events going forward, we’ll keep this feedback in mind.

The devs have special tools to make wars happen on the PTR. The war will happen tomorrow at 5:00pm PT. It’s also 50v50. I guess this is incentive for players who are available to hop in and help test.

Okay nothing happens on the worlds that worlds are getting merged into. It’ll just be like getting a bunch of new players.

So from my understanding, wars and invasions will not initiate on worlds that will be merged. I don’t quite remember the answer for worlds that have worlds being merged into it but I will ask and circle back to you!

Just for clarification, are you wondering about the worlds that will merged into others or the worlds that other worlds are being merged into?

(I hope that doesn’t read as confusing as it sounds in my head)

Hey all, please remember to be respectful of each other while on the New World forums. However, you shouldn’t need to pay other players in order to access content.

I believe in a previous Developer Video, the team discusses tuning orbs and that this mechanism may change in the future.

I feel like the comments in this thread have run their course so I’m going to close this thread. Thank you for your understanding.

Nope but hopefully I will have an answer on that soon. The video won’t be coming out today.

Thank you to all who participated in our Free to Play Weekend! We hope you enjoyed exploring the world of Aeternum with us.

All free worlds have been merged into pre-existing servers now that the event has been completed.

In addition to those merges, we will be completing another round of server merges on 2022-04-15T07:00:00Z.

• Asgard, Hades, Hellheim, Fae, and Caer Sidi will be merged into Abaton
• Styx, Antillia, Utgard, and Learad will be merged into Aaru
• Lyonesse will be merged into Nysa
• Bifrost, Niflheim, Bengodi, and Kor will be merged into Tir Na Nog
• Arcturus will be merged into Tartarus ...
