Hi there!

We are going to be working with the Design Team regarding ALL of the cosmetic options vs which items they can be applied to, and I will provide further information at a future date.

(We know y'all have been asking for this information for awhile. Design is super busy right now working towards our Alpha One milestone, but once they have time to send that information over to me, I will relay that and make sure it's placed some where that is easy to consume - as well as updating information in various places to coincide with it for past items, etc. We appreciate your patience in the meantime! <3 )

My biggest qualm is how little information there is displayed about the game itself. Where's a list of its races, classes, professions, node types, etc? If I didn't know anything about this game and visited the website, I'd still know very little about this game. Certainly not enough to give it money.


We mentioned this in the live stream. In future phases, we'll be adding more details - I gave an example of the races page and how that will improve with each phase. =)

Reopening this so I can ask some follow up questions @Cadac !

Would you mind sharing what browser you are using?

Also just to clarify, we purposely have it so that when you click the "Forums" on the Ashes of Creation Bar, it will only open a new tab if you do not already have the Forums up. If you have it up, we just refresh the Forums page for you in the tab that you already have it open in. (This is to make it so you don't get a bunch of the same tab.)

You can always Right Click "Forums" and select "Open in New Tab" to force this function.

Does this clarify the issue for you, or is something else happening? (Just want to make sure we resolve your concern before we close this thread.

Thanks for the feedback folks! I love that our community is so invested in even the website changes. :smiley:

I wanted to make some notes so y'all can understand the decisions that were made:
- As someone stated in this thread already, you usually want your CTA (call to action) items at the top of your Home page (Registration and Special Offer in our case currently) as folks rarely scroll down. [For example, if someone comes to the site, they see that they can register and the disclaimer, but don't know how to be a part of the test, and immediately can see that they can click the special offer to partake in the above disclaimed message.]
- When it comes to content, we're going to have a TON of other pages with information on the game, but we want to keep the Home page to a minimum for viewer retention - so that is why we have slimmed it down to 2 key features on this page. (Lots of data analysis went into these decisions. <3 )

The corgi is a pet. It will follow you around, but have no function in regards to power - just look adorable and majestic.

For the Flawless Finery wig question - I am double checking with the team and I will give you an update!

Yes, these will be used by all races, but there may be slight variations to make them work with the body builds of each race. ;)
