It's getting closer and closer to the major update and the Chinese New Year holidays. CentreBrain may also looking forward to the vacation, but it's not time to slack off in catching up on the patch development...!

This time we sneaked out some pictures from the major update version. As we already know, "Mecha customization" is a very important feature in this update, where we can design a unique external armor for Icarus. It is not just about color, but the shape, the armor piece of material, decorations, back to spread the "light wings"... Wow, Icarus is already the light of Dyson sphere universe, but after the update, you engineers will be able to design an exclusive shining light for it.

Dear Engineers,

Hope you all had a merry Christmas! We are happy to announce today that Dyson Sphere Program is going to welcome the 2022 with a major update “The Icarus' Evolution”!



So you already know this patch is most about Icarus! However keep in mind that something big is going on with Dyson sphere system, and the new arrival Advanced Mining Machine and Proliferator.

  • Now you can set the color of the Traffic Monitor.
Change:
  • Partially solved the problem of the Conveyor Belt not running at full capacity (modified the upper limit of Sortor's unload pushing mechanism from 48 cargoes to 288 cargoes)
Bugfix:
  • Fixed the bug that the planet atmosphere color was not rendered correctly in Planet View (M) and in the prologue.
  • Fixed the bug that pop-click may appeared when the speaker ends its playing.
  • Fixed the bug that the numbers in the product icon of Mining Machine were displayed incorrectly.

In this patch, we are bringing you a new function: "Traffic Monitor". Literally, It will display the amount that cargo is passing through the production line. You will not only be able to monitor the passing radio by reading the number, but also hearing its alarm sound.

It's almost the last 1/6 of 2021, and the season is changing. Dyson Sphere Program is also changing little by little, with the combat system development in progress.

Yesterday we updated our Achievement and Milestone system. Today, we revealed a bit about the combat system at the Tokyo Game Show. Our wish is to bring this highly anticipated system to you as soon as possible.

CentreBrain plans to the Steam Achievement system on the evening of September 30. \WOW/!

Hi engineers!

When you finish the update and enter the game, you'll find the Icarus is kinda different - Yes, Icarus the HD Remastered! New textures, cool animations, and even more hardcore (face) landing technology!
Along with it comes new types of gas giants, factory rendering efficiency improvements, and other enhancements.

We've looked at a few ways to save engineers from having to reopen a new game every time a new planet type is added. For example, we tried the method of "leaving the visited planets unchanged and re-randomizing the unvisited planets", but we found that the randomization process was too complicated that the visited planets may also change under it. So now we are adding "subtypes" of planets to solve the problem.
