I've been locked in the server room for three days after Rick caught sight of me coming out of a marketing meeting and chased me in here.

Every few minutes it tries to break down the door, I havent even slept. I'm scared. Everyone is back to work tomorrow, I hope the door holds out.

It sounds like one of you is running a mod, or editing your game files. If you're running mods, all players in a lobby have to be running mods in order to connect to each other.

It could also be a hard drive issue (eg. your hard drive is failing), or you have a virus that's editing game files.

You can go to support.paradoxplaza.com and open a ticket if you need further support with this issue.

Hello Stellaris Community!

In time for the weekend (a long one, in some cases), the dev team has prepared a 3.11.3 "Eridanus" Open Beta! This beta addresses some issues that have been left over from the 3.11 release.

The 3.11.3 "Eridanus" Open Beta is an optional beta patch. You have to manually opt-in to access it.
Go to your Steam Library, right click on Stellaris -> Properties -> Betas Tab -> select "3.11.3_open_beta" from the drop-down.

Try disabling v-sync. On some setups, disabling v-sync gives *massive* performance improvements.

Generally issues with DLC verification can be solved by right clicking Stellaris, Properties, Betas tab and Verify Local files.

If the issue persists past that point, you can go to support.paradoxplaza.com and open a ticket, and Customer Support will be glad to help you!

The Expansion Subscription is primarily to lower the bar to entry for new players, if you have all or most of the DLC, its very likely that the subscription will not be worth it for you.

New DLC will *not* be subscription only, and you can still purchase them on Steam (or other platforms) as you could previously.

People joining the game you host, have access to the dlc you own, if you have the sub, most likely mean they have access to it too.

This is correct, subscription DLC behave the same as normal DLC, and are shared in multiplayer as long as the subscribed player is the host.

#MODJAM2024 is well under way. This year we had over 100 modders sign up, and over 60 design documents submitted. While we aren't expecting to have 60 Legendary Leaders submitted at the end of the competition (wouldn't that be awesome though?). Today, we're going to give you the first sneak peek at the Legendary Leaders our modders are currently working on, as well as give you a peek at how the final mod package will work.

We have just released the 3.10.1 "Pyxis" update! This update is identical to the Steam Open Beta that we put up earlier this week, and includes a number of fixes as well as hotkeys for the Tabbed Outliner.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Stellaris Community for their patience and bug reports. Without your help we would not have been able to address so many issues so quickly. Please keep on providing your bug reports and feedback.

We are currently still investigating and fixing a number of other issues, and this will not be the last update to 3.10, including issues on MacOS, more bugfixes, and adding full customization to the Outliner.
