We wanted to give small update with the 6.2 Update early release on Amazon.
Unfortunately after talking to Amazon and looking into this, once an update is released on a platform we are unable roll the update back to the previous one. This means that we cannot revert the Amazon Store to go back to the 6.1.5 update.
We apologize to the players who have been affected by this. We are putting in steps to try to prevent this happening again in the future. We are also currently looking into compensation for Amazon players once the 6.2 update officially releases.
As Jeto has mentioned, the dev team is investigating why some players have been experiencing problems with the apk that has been shared. The apk should be the same version as the one that was available on the Amazon Store originally.

We have an faction themed update coming this year (as Jeto may have mentioned in our recent Stream).
While it may not necessarily be potions, we can look at adding something similar in this update to help players complete level 500 Delves with a pure faction team.

We have an update on what’s going on with Guild Wars and the compensation for the last guild wars.
We spent the end of the year discussing with the team, about a few possibilities for Guild Wars. This included whether we could revert Guild Wars to have the same setup as the start of the previous Guild Wars.
However after some investigation, the agreement within the team was that attempting this change was going to be high risk with potential to introduce more bugs within the Guild Wars than it would solve.
This means that when Guild Wars goes ahead next week, it will be with the results from the last Guild Wars. We apologize to any Guild that feels they were affected by the defense team issue.
As compensation for the defense team issues in the last Guild Wars, we will be sending a global mail out to all players in the next 24hrs.

Just a short update.
I have good news that we will be setting up a 3 Day Gnome Vault Event to run Tuesday - Thursday next week.
We will also be running a special Adventure Board each day for the full week, starting after weekly reset.
Is this the Guild Wars Defense Team Score compensation?
Not entirely, this is mainly something we wanted to do since we had to delay Guild Wars.
We do plan to send out a global mail with some compensation once a final decision has been reached here. We are still looking into what is possible, and discussing the different options that we have going forward.

We wanted to let you know about some changes coming in the Shop in the next Update. As part of the 6.1 Update, the current Deathknight Armor bundle is being retired.
However if you don’t yet own the Deathknight Armor, fear not. We have new bundle with the Deathknight Armor coming at a different price point and new set of rewards to go along with it.
Can I purchase the new offer if I already own Deathknight Armor?
Yes, players can see and purchase the new bundle, however you will not receive a second copy of the Deathknight Armor.
Why is the bundle changing?
The current Deathknight Armor bundle has been in the game for almost 7 years now. Like the changes we’ve made to the weekly Kingdom and Legendary Bundles, we felt that it would be good to refresh this bundle and offer it under a lower price point.
Thanks for reminding me about the compensation, and for the suggestion of reverting the scores - I should have included info on that in the original post. There will definitely be compensation of some form, but we’re still figuring out what is possible there at the moment. Once we have a definite answer on what we can do, we’ll share that info with you all.
While I can’t do a week long Vault event, I will see what I can do.

We wanted to discuss some of the recent issues, keep you updated on what their status is, and give a little insight about what’s been going on for those who are interested.
As many of you may remember, we use the MongoDB database to run Gems of War. Like all technical solutions it has pros and cons, but overall has served the game well. After 7 years, we have many many millions of accounts in MongoDB, and while databases can handle this volume of accounts, it does mean there are some technical issues that we need to solve before they become a larger problem. Some of the tricky technical problems that we’ve faced in the last 2 months have stemmed from optimizations we’re making to MongoDB. Some of our veteran players will remember our MongoDB issues in the past (that lead to the creation of the Troop Mongo & his spell Random Crash at the time). We’ve got it under control, but it’s providing a bit of a bumpy road while we make sure the game is heal...

We noticed that the confirmation prompt to spend Gems on purchasing a Kingdom Pass level was not working. This meant it was easy to accidentally interact with that part of your display and purchase a level in the Kingdom Pass for 100 Gems.
To prevent this issue while we look into addressing this, we will be disabling the ability to spend Gems to Buy Levels in the Kingdom Pass until further notice.
We will be sending out refunds to all players who spent Gems to buy levels, to ensure anyone affected by this issue will get their Gems back.

We have been looking into reports the new Wyrmrun troops causing the game to soft lock. As this investigation is ongoing, we have deployed out some temporay changes to remove these traits from the troops until we get a fix out.

Some devious imps have gotten loose into the game and caused an issue with the spells that can target any gem on the board to create more. Targeting Skulls currently creates invisible Gems that can be exploded but not be matched!
We have hot-fix coming to squish these mischievous imps. However in the meantime, we will be changing the affected troops so they cannot target Skulls. These spells will be reverted once the hot-fix is live, hopefully in a week or so.

We have been investigating reports where Second Claw Anhur’s spell could occasionally cause the game to crash, particularly on Xbox and PlayStation platforms.
At this stage we believe we have found the cause of the issue, which is to do with the Triangle shape gem destruction. However it will need a client update to fix it.
To prevent Anhur from causing futher issues in PvP or on other platforms we will be changing his spell so he will destroy a 3x3 Block of Gems instead.
We will revert his spell back once the client update with the fix is released (currently looking at 5.6 Update).
