Even confirmation that the devs are aware of this issue would be greatly appreciated (yes, I've already reported everything in-game).

Please PM me the e-mail you've reported those bugs from, I'll check.

Work's definitely going on over optimization, but I don't know how much of that will land in 1.2. Try the game after this patch as well, some areas have been optimized.

Here's something I've wondered for a while, are you planning on stealing quality of life ideas from Toybox? Like highlighting the scrolls a wizard can learn, shift+click to move entire stacks instantly, respec companions from scratch, refilling belt items after use automatically...

These and others like it are SO good and I feel bad for people who can't mod their game.

EDIT : The highlight is already in apparently, nice!

Respec companions from scratch won't happen in unmodded game, they had lives before you and their skills reflect it. That's one of those minor but important things that gives them personality, instead of making them plastic dolls. Refilling belt items or autobuffing is also unlikely, as it automatizes the gameplay too much, and in our opinion that'd kill some of the classic RPG magic the game has, slowly turning it into a conveyor. If you wish to do it anyway, you can always use mods, that's the reason why we give the tools to make them in the first place :)

Some less dramatic QoL things like inventory search and moving stacks are on a "would be nice to do" list, so it's mostly about time/budget constraints and will most likely make it into the game in one form or another at some point.

Question for all players - I'm a huge fan of the first game, but I know I'll only make a single playthtrough as I did with all other long RPGs. I decided to wait until most major glitches/balance issues/bugs were fixed. Where do you feel the game is right now? Will the next major patch 1.2 + a couple hotfixes after it bring the game where I can confidently play it without any major bug or unbalanced/unfun areas?

Most of the serious post-launch problems have been fixed by now. You should be safe to go at this point. I know my opinion will be kinda biased here, but I've personally completed the game a few weeks ago without encountering any issues beyond minor and/or cosmetic.

If you report all the bugs about blood kineticist you know of, via ALT+B, and provide a detailed description of each + preferrably a google spreadsheet with all of them listed and described, and then PM it to me along with the e-mail specified in bugreports, that may greatly increase the probability of it getting fixed sooner.

Are these crashes specific to Mac? I have been playing on Windows and I've had crashes quite often that I stopped reporting it. Commonly while selling a lot of items, saving, and sometimes when the performance is bad the game freezes(also renders a screen that is from -what I think- when I last saved the game), and will eventually crash. These crashes started happening a lot more in Act V.

Not trying to report a bug here, just curious if todays patch would apply to the windows version too or not.

Mac version has a particularly annoying and hard-to-pinpoint bug that has been randomly plaguing certain Mac configs for about three months now, crashing a certain set of locations on load. Been a nightmare for both us and these players, but finally it seems that the team nailed it, at least partially. We really would like to see if it helped.

As for windows crashes - they are not as common, so make sure to report them.

Swarm That Walks and Gold Dragon had wrong mythic ability and mythic feat progressions - fixed, but retraining will be required for correct work; Now GD gets rank 8-10 mythic feats and abilities, a much needed change for GD. Any plans for GD buffs/changes from Devs, as that path is the weakest in game? The highest stat bonus and spells dices bonus is bugged, so casters have no point in picking that path, and martials can get gd stuff via Brown fur buffing them (gd form is just a dragon form 3 without elemental immunity and frightful aura, talk about a dissapointment for a mythic dragon).

There are some mythic balance reviews incoming in the upcoming major patch (1.2), although I don't know the details yet. Think I saw something there regarding the GD.

Doing what we can :-)

No date that I can announce yet, but early next year is a reasonable expectation.

I honestly think they took morale decay out. I finished a game on Normal difficulty about two weeks ago and I never had an issue with morale decay.

It was bugged at a certain point, so this may be where this is coming from. It isn't anymore. You have to be really sitting idle for many MONTHS to see that effect nowadays. Never had to even worry about it in my own playthrough, didn't even see the red banners :)

Considering it's already in game and achieveable with mods, it wouldn't be much effort :)

One of the mods already does that :) But it's indeed a highly anticipated feature, so we may get there one day if there's spare development time available. No promises or ETA for now though.

Since the last patch the defense was triggered after not even 1 in game day. Directly after leaving the market square and on my way to pick up Daeran.

Hello, could you please report this as a bug via ALT+B and PM me the e-mail you specified in report? We'd like to investigate this.

Yup, there's still a lot of background work on QoL stuff and crusade and mythic balance. Some of it should land in 1.2 which is not that far away.

The next big patch is 1.2, not 2.0. Don't think it'll make it before Christmas, but it's indeed relatively soon.

This patch brought an experimental fix that is supposed to finally deal with the cursed Mac crash problem. If you are a Mac user that had crashes in Gwerm's Mansion, Commander's Tent and multiple other locations, please comment if this patch solved your issue!

Crusaders!

A new patch 1.1.5f is here! We've fixed the issue with Hold Person, Mass, and it will no longer hold you back! We've also fixed crashes upon loading some areas on macOS, and optimized some aspects of the game to improve its performance.

Known issues:

If you leave Drezen right after Anevia gives you the Night Gamblers quest, it may be impossible to speak with the gamblers and Sosiel when you return. Workaround: speak with them as soon as the quest starts. We will fix this issue in one of the future patches.

In Alushinyrra some NPCs may end up underground sometimes. If that happens, save the game and reload it.

Beware of possible plot spoilers!

Quests

Former companions attacked Swarm-That-Walks without explaining themselves - fixed;

Chasing the Spinner of Nightmares now starts with auto-crusade mode on;

Demonic Hide-and-Seek quest couldn't be completed correctly, if the search for Lexi...
