I have a character in act 3 (just ended at 2) and if I respec him, my game breaks. He's trickster path.

Does this mean my save is corrupt? I'm just trying to change his race, not his abilities or class.

I actually reported a bunch of bugs related to it - my game stopped being able to save, the exact same feats could be taken over and over again because the game wasn't recognising the feat on the class page, text was not showing up on screen, only in the combat log, etc.

It was implemented, yes, but if you respecced after siege of Drezen and saved, there's a chance your game is irrepairably broken, unfortunately.

WELL. I'm going Azata, so fingers crossed, but if I actually have to go back to Act II I will be upset. I had planned on a second play through, but not before finishing my first...

With a solid chance Azata should be fine.

Does this mean that, if our save works after the patch, it'll keep working?

Saves will work as they did before. It's only a message that while the fix has arrived, there is a chance it will not be able to repair your game if it was too broken already. Hence we recommend to start a new game if you are in the risk zone. Mostly demon and lich mythics could get their game irreversibly broken.

New playthroughs started after patch should not have the problem.

Sorry to hijack this, but have you guys looked into the player attributes getting bugged on the Gold Dragon mythic path when you switch gear and also getting attribute penalties that cannot be healed/restored?

Working on it, hopefully getting into the next patch.

How does this bug represent itself? I haven't really had any issues

After post-Drezen respec some endgame mythic quests have issues with uninteractible NPCs, non-working triggers (such as teleport to prison for demon) or non-working UI elements . Most of these have been fixed by the patch, but not all of them can be repaired in your save retroactively. Still, as Azata chance that something will break is minor.

Crusade problems are most likely a different thing.

Could be. Please use ALT+B to report a bug.

Azata seems rarely affected, so I'd probably continue if I was you.

If you already switched to dragon, you're probably fine. The problem blocks conversion.

Respecs done prior to Drezen siege are safe. If you've done it after, if you pick demon, lich, swarm, dragon or secret mythic, you -may- have issues. Other mythics are unlikely to be affected.

I'm gonna dig theough older saves I guess

Sad to hear :\ Then please set a bug using ALT+B, we'll be looking into it. You can PM me the ticket number, this sounds like a serious problem.

Dear Owlcat Devs,

it is fixed. And well, it is not. While it is now as it was intended, I have to question the intention itself.

I mean, why do we keep our hair, when everything else is stripped (like the skin the hair was attached to)? Why are we transformed into a skeleton with filthy rags around our lower arms and legs, held together by cheap rope? It's good enough for the skeletal vanguard, but not a Lich that is the final result of many hours of work towards that goal. Even our undead companions are better in that regard, as you can see the shoes and gloves they equip.

Personally I also hoped to get some items that would make us look at least remotely like the Lich from your own artwork, with some kind of hood/crown combo. Or have a fitting Lich outfit that overwrites our outfit with "Show class equipment".

But sadly we have neither.

So yes, while the visuals of Mythic Lich might be fixed for now...

Interesting feedback, I'll pass it over to the art team. No promises, but who knows.

Speaking of this, I had a question about my playthrough. I'm playing Aeon, but I did indeed respec mid-way through chapter 3. Based on the notes, it seems that if I want to go for the "secret" path that you can go after being an Aeon (to do with a certain guest in your court) - the save is bricked for that?

If so, although that's disappointing - that's alright. I kinda wanted to start over, now that I know what I'm getting into more - but just wanted to confirm there's no point in continuing if I was intending to go that route.

Heya, and thank you, trying my best <3

There's a solid chance you won't be able to finish choosing mythic powers there, yes. So if you want to be sure, better start anew. Or as someone else in the thread, pray to Desna and hope for the best.

Any potential ETA for this patch regarding respecs?

Considering how critical the issue is, I'd estimate within a week at worst. Hopefully, within the nearest days.

Only after.

Please PM them to me.

Hello, did you leave a bug report via the in-game tool? And if yes, did you receive your ticket number on your e-mail?

The mythic paths being broken for anyone who has retrained their characters is a pretty huge one so I'm sure they are working on getting the Known Issues section fixed really soon and just put that there to let us know they know and that they are working on it.

Yup, correct.

Edit: For some reason it works fine if used from the world map. Infinite loading screen only happens after using the table in drezen.

Edit 2: Random encounters now also give infinite loading screens.

Edit 3: Ok, most areas other than Drezen now have an infinite loading screen upon entering for me. The loading goes very, very slowly until 100% but then the map just doesn't open regardless of how long I wait.

Edit 4: Tried loading earlier saves. Azata path specifically. It seems that saves before finishing the Above the Clouds quest (commander court one) are not affected. Saves made after are affected.

Try deleting all files from C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\, except for portraits, saves and screenshots. That should help. It's a known cache glitch.
