I do apologize if the answer came off wrong, I was quickly going through a few posts last night and trying to help where I can. With TwitchCon happening this past weekend, we’re all a bit more strained.

To clarify, I know we all love new classes, myself included. And the team is excited and eager to get them out too. But there is alot that goes into class release. Including actual dev work and decisions by multiple levels. (I am not included in the decision process, just to be clear.) All CMs, including myself, always strive to represent the players as accurately and as loudly as we can to both brands. Along with also clearing up misconceptions, misinformation and provide what answers we are given to share to the players. We are the bridge between brands and players, nothing more.

The fight against bots is always ongoing. We are actively working against them and banning when able but it’s a process. I apologize for the ones that you’ve run in to and will let the team know to look into it.

There is nothing that CMs can do when it comes to a ban. We recommend continuing to speak with customer support as they are the only ones who have the information and control to make a change. I apologize for your frustration!

I have to lock this thread as conversation is turning combative. I’m sorry to hear your friend was banned but there is nothing that can be done at this time from the forums. CMs cannot access anything that has to do with bans nor do we have any say in unbans. I’m sorry for his frustration in this, but would advise him to continue talking with customer service about it.

I will be locking this thread as at this time there is nothing that can be done and the conversation has turned combative. CMs have no control or power over bans or unbans, no matter the story. We advise the player to keep trying to communicate with customer support. I will ask the team to look into the CS communication but otherwise my hands are tied. I’m sorry about the frustration.

There are always a few reasons why anything can slow down, forums included. Its the height of the summer and things online always tend to be a bit slower as more people go out.
