The point is to show how it can play on that platform, when the time comes and we can give access to more that'd be lovely but I thought this was worthy of showing it regardless :)

Hey everyone,

Since the Comp Cape redesign update we've been monitoring comments in relation to the stats on the Max/Completionist Capes as well as the Fight Kiln capes.

This week we added a 100 life point bonus on the Max/Comp Capes, during this time we've been having discussions regarding the stats on the capes themselves.

As a result, in a future update (date not confirmed) we'll be making the following changes to the capes.

  • The combat bonuses of the Max/Comp capes will be boosted from 26 to 31.
  • The combat bonus of each of the Kiln capes will be boosted from 31 to 33.

This ensures that no one loses out on the stats they had before the rework, but also keeps gear choices interesting. We want to set the precedent that the comp cape won't be best in slot in the future, and we'd rather do that through a small buff than a small nerf.

I'm pretty confident in saying this won't be a 3 month fix, it has to go through the usual processes (code reivew, etc, etc) but I'll try keep you all updated on how we're looking.

I'm reluctant to give any timeframes just in case that isn't hit which hopefully you understand :)

Hello everyone,

As I'm sure you're well aware some of you have run into "dead click" related issues.

I've been going around to teams to clarify what exactly our plans are for this and what exactly has happened so I'm hoping this will clear up a few issues.

The issue

We've seen reports on a "dead click" issue since January, since that time we've investigated and had been querying players and asking in posts for more information on this.

During that time until now we've been quietly releasing script optimisations to help reduce server delay on other scripts in the game that were "intensive".

We noticed that the reports seem to slowly die down, only until two weeks ago when we released an actionbar update to the game.

Since that time we've continued to fix any issues that have arose from that update but we're still seeing player reports on this.

Because the Mining Skillcape works on core rocks only, so this is making it work as intended.

I need to go more in depth on this but in short

There has been some underlying actionbar/dead click issue for a few months

A week ago a actionbar update introduced more issues

I can absolutely tell you based on conversations yesterday that we’re trying to fix this ASAP

Additionally we have our platform team checking on the client side of things to see what we can do also.

It’s understandably frustrating... but I’ll see what I can do to keep you all updated as per.
