Yup! Timezones suck, don’t they?
The contest ends at midnight EDT Friday. So for you in Germany that would be 6am Saturday.
Hail and well met, Exiles!
We’re releasing a patch that includes fixes and adjustments for various crashes, the friends list and invitations, and healing wrap regeneration.
Along with this patch, Avatars have been enabled (for real this time). Please also note that beginning last week, decay is doubled to 14 days for the Summer. You can read more about this in our announcement here.

You’re more than welcome to upload it to YouTube or whatever video sharing website you prefer, as long as I can access it. You can then email us the link to [email protected]
As long as I can access them, you’re free to send a link to them. Sorry about the limit!
@fito You’re more than welcome to make a thread showing off your tower. We’ll be making a mega thread on the 17th to announce the winners and show off other towers, in which others are welcome to share theirs too of course.
Hrm I will check the email address. Thanks for letting me know!
Hey all,
We wanted to take a moment to fill you in on how mods will work on Epic Game Store (EGS). On Steam we rely on the built-in mod-downloader to handle any issues with mod mismatches between the client and server. On EGS we can not do this due to the fact that they do not have a Steam workshop equivalent. At launch we will support the following:
Players can download the mods from a third party location and place them in the Mods folder. After that they can use the Mod Menu in game to manually order/activate their mods, or connect to a server and have the Mod Mismatch system update their modlist automatically.
Players can directly download mods from a dedicated server. When we launch on EGS clients will be able to download mods using the Mod Mismatch GUI. In order to do this the dedicated server must have port gameport+10 (TCP) open. The default would be 7787.
When Epic adds official mod support to EGS we plan to m...

Small update to PC for dedicated servers is now out that fixes an issue where whitelist was requiring SteamID and PlayfabID instead of either ID. No client update needed. We’re continuing to look into the pong spam. Thank you for your patience!
You can do whatever admin/game settings you wish as long as it’s not a mod.
Unfortunately not, but if you already have this DLC and you win you’re of course welcome to give it away or trade it or whatever. Sorry about that!
If your tower is based on Tower of the Elephant and follows the rules of what we’ve written out that’s fine.
Another update for today:
With this, dedicated servers should no longer get stuck trying to shutdown SourceServerQueries module; no client update needed. Please let us know if you continue to experience server issues.
You have some creative freedom with it. You can build it in your own vision since it doesn’t go into a TON of detail in the stories. As long as it’s not just some random structure. :b
Just a quick and small notification that we’ve just pushed an update to the Dedicated Server product that fixes some server stability issues related to Source Server Query. No client update needed, but this should resolve a cause for server crashes.

It’s time for another building contest! It has been a while since we’ve had one, so we hope you missed these as much as we have. If you didn’t get a chance to participate previously, make sure to check out the incredible winners of the ...
Read moreA new update to PC is out now. This will fix garbled server names as well as an issue where the client continued to ping the server constantly after connecting.
A couple additions:
There may be an issue with some private server owners where they do not have their ping port opened properly. Before this was handled by Steam, but to fix it they will need to open up their ping port manually (ping port is game port + 1)
Some servers that have a ping limit are still having issues with direct connect. If you connect using the server list it should work. If there is a mod mismatch be aware that the system using direct connect after restarting the client. You’ll need to let it fail, then connect using the server list after the restart.
A new hotfix has been released for PC just now. This fixes a client freeze that could occur when the client restarted after using the Mod Mismatch GUI. It also includes a crash fix related to filtering the server list. Investigation to the other known issues ongoing. Thank you!
Hey all, an update to what’s going on.
Client Freezes - We are working on a solution to this. This generally happens when you are connecting to a server with a mod list that is different from yours. When the client restarts to reload the modlist it starts in a state that will eventually cause it to freeze up. You can get around this by reordering mods on your Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Mods\modlist.txt manually. We will hopefully have a fix for this soon.
Lost characters - We are also investigating characters that still remain lost. However, you can manually resolve this by completing character creation, logging out, and logging back in again. You should then have your original character back.
For those who don’t have their character back, can you DM or email me ([email protected]) your game.bd and character name? We’ll take a closer look, thank you.
Sorry all. We’ve been putting in updates here but I’d forgotten to that this time. Thank you for the reminder. I’ve updated the original post and replied to the thread.
