Guidance systems

Issues were observed by some players that were using “Old videocard support” graphic settings. IR guidance systems for target tracking on helicopters, aircraft and ground vehicles as well as missile weaponry with IR guided heads literally went blind and stopped locking onto target.

General

A bug has been fixed that prevented IR systems locking on and tracking the target, as well as IR-guided missiles from locking on target at the ultra-low graphic settings. (report).


A bug has been fixed that prevented AI gunners on naval vessels from firing at aerial targets on the ultra-low quality setting.


A bug has been fixed that prevented aircraft from repairing/reloading on the edge of an airfield.


An interface navigation bug has been fixed that caused the cursor to return to the previous tab, or prevented the cursor from moving.

We are work in progress on the new gaming mode for ground vehicles. This time we are introducing “Convoy” mode in addition to the fixed and improved missions from the last test session.

Testing is available in the Events and Tournaments tab in two stages:

You need to build parts first.

Please search for Spawncamping thread (we have few of them) and use it to discuss this topic.

Have you checked server replay from that battle?

Got to the linked site, log in, launch game.

Go back to the site, search for battle you are talking, launch replay - switch back to game.

Game will load replay of battle from server side (so how the server saw the shot).

Please submit bug report in Technical Section.

I think you can use software you are familiar with.

If you have questions related to custom content, please use this section on forum.

Ok, I do not use MacOS so I will do my wild guess.

Steam needs to somewhat check files.

You still have original directory with full War Thunder download, right?

What will happen if you:

Pause new download (like you did now).


Copy whole content of original War Thunder directory to new one (that paused). (not War Thunder folder, but it content).


Switch off Steam.


Switch it on.


Resume download?

Will it overwrite old files (sounds kinda stupid)?

You quoted me by accident? Because your answer has nothing to what I typed.

In steam settings you have Download section. There you have steam library directory (or something, I do not use Steam in EN, so dunno how it's called there).

Be sure to have your disk with WT visible there. Steam should automatically find the files.

I do not want, because I can do nothing with such data.

I am sorry that you suffer with that, but there is nothing we can do.

As I mentioned, in your situation in future it's best to have eye on steam and do not allow it to download games when you are not present.

War Thunder did not redownloaded 5 times to anyone except you (at least no one reported such behaviour).

Every time you play with someone who is using camo from market which you did not downloaded yet.
