A bug which would result in the player’s screen becoming blacked-out while viewing the replay of the their ground vehicle’s destruction has been fixed


A bug which would cause elements of the player’s interface to shift to the center of the screen during battles has been fixed


A bug where a spectator’s camera could become stuck in one position when a player switched their vehicle to an aircraft/helicopter during ground battles has been fixed

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

In order to prevent climbing in tracked ground vehicles on hills with very steep slopes, the physics of the track to surface traction have been reworked. Now it will be more difficult to climb slopes at a very steep angles in RB and SB game modes.

We have made this change, because it is now more fair in relation to all nations. Earlier some of them had the advantage that there was already an APDSDS, after this change there will be an absence of lower performing shells that need to be researched. We could not give all the nations an equal default entry APFSD shells, because some of them simply do not have them in arsenal, for example Typ 90.

If necessary, we will balance shell prices.

Zmiany w modelach pojazdów naziemnych, modelach zniszczeń, charakterystyce i modelach broni:

Poniższe zmiany dotyczą pojazdów er VI-VII:

Pocisk HEAT-FS zostały pociskami domyślnymi dla pojazdów, które wcześniej używały pocisków APFS-DS jako podstawowych (Oprócz brytyjskich pojazdów naziemnych - nadal nie mają dostępu do amunicji HEAT)


Układ modyfikacji pocisków został zmieniony następująco: jeśli jest dostępny tylko jeden typ pocisku przeciwpancernego stabilizowanego brzechwowo, gdy podstawowym pociskiem jest HEAT, będzie on umieszczony na trzecim(III) poziomie modyfikacji. Jeśli pojazd z podstawowym pociskiem HEAT posiada dwa typy pocisków przeciwpancernych stabilizowanych brzechwowo, to pierwszy z nich będzie znajdować się na pierwszym(I) poziomie, a drugi na czwartym(IV) poziomie modyfikacji.

Type 89, CV90105 TML, M60 AMBT, Ariete (Preserie), Ariete PSO, Ariete — a bug has been fixed with jerky movement when turning from halted whilst the W and A/D buttons are pressed, vehicle repeatedly trying to switch between N and first gears.

Since the pause in the current season of World War mode, we have worked on the further optimization of game servers.


Today we are resuming game days and the first play window will be held from 14:00 GMT on the 7th of July until 22:00 GMT on the 8th of July which will help us to evaluate the work which has been done.


On the basis of the collected statistics and your feedback we will decide about the continuation of the current WWM season or further delay and transfer it to a later date. You can report any possible issues in this special topic.

Commanders, we continue to improve the SB mode for ground vehicle battles. In the upcoming testing session, we have created an updated mechanism for requesting the location of allies, improved as a result of your feedback. We will additionally introduce new respawning points which are better adapted to SB mode.


These features have been already tested in SB mode, following which we considered your feedback and adjusted them accordingly. We plan to test these features for a longer period than usual. Experience the difference and share your opinions with us, and we'll keep an eye on your feedback for future updates!


These changes will be implemented on the 1st of May.

In a real battle, the well established interaction between battle participants plays an important role. The participants receive intelligence and actively coordinate with allies themselves and actively coordinate with them by reporting their own position and data about any detected enemies.


During different wars the same units may have encountered each other on the same battlefield. It might have been captured vehicles in the WW 2 period and in modern warfare the vehicles could have been created based on a model which had been built by license or simply bought. With the release of War Thunder update 1.91, you’ll be able to exclude maps and missions from your personal rotation, as well as mark them as unwanted.








The “Dislike” feature will be available to all players - if a few players from the matching queue have the same mission or location marked as unwanted, the location will be skipped, and the new location will be selected.

In order to improve balance in aircraft Realistic Battles for vehicles of BR 7.7 and higher, the priority of the creating symmetrical battles "allies vs allies" and "axis vs axis" has been temporarily increased.
