Plane users are royally f**ked
Not really! The purpose of this is to ensure that there's always a fighting chance and a counter, we found that its often quite possible to take a wildcat out within a strafe or two and that is quite easy pickings for aircraft, especially considering that it's an anti-air vehicle. We don't anticipate this to wreck havoc across the airspace, and if it does - then it gets brought into line :)

I am, once again, asking when are we going to see the Improved Map Rotations promised in (and subsequently delayed out of) update 6.3
We’ve been asking about this ever since the post was made to delay it, but Dice hasn’t mentioned it since.
Pretty sure we relayed through various channels that this was rolled out in a later update and consisted of server-side algorithm changes and updates aimed at improving the frequent reports around playing the same maps back to back.
What is now in place is that the game will actively take note of your previous maps played, choose the next available one depending on your server population, and work down a list of options to reach the best possible map and server.
It should only really play back-to-back in certain modes that are round-based, if you back out to the main menu and frequently search, or if it reaches the bottom of its search list and it's the only available option for you at that moment in time.

Thanks for raising this to my attention, behavior like this has no place in any game, let alone Star Wars Battlefront II. I will pass this thread along to the team to investigate further and if found to be taking place within EA services, action taken.
Star Wars to me is about family and community, we need to be protecting those values, and again this type of stuff has no place. I'll do my best to ensure the team looks into this 🙏
Please always ensure you're reporting individuals within the game or via the EA App, some may think it doesn't do much but it really does make a snapshot of the things taking place and provides context for the TOS team.
Thought I had responded,, but never saw the user name. It was a portal server with the "N" word as the server name.

Rest assured this is not okay, and its not Battlefield to have such stuff exist either.

This happens a lot to me, especially when is a balanced match. Out of all battlefield games I have played, not a single one comes close to BF 2042 with this problem.

It's already so easy to shoot these things down, why nerf their damage? I swear modern dice hates air. They really don't want anyone to be able to enjoy any flying vehicles with how easy it is to keep them down.
Onky games they stay up and get to really contribute are the ones where everyone simultaneously decides not to even try anti-air.

I personally disagree, air has dominated in many Battlefield titles - and still does when placed in the hands of a skilled pilot and squad that knows how to keep a piece of aircraft flying. It's about bringing them into a range where they can be mastered by skilled pilots, and enjoyed by those that just want to fly casually.
It is not about bringing them into low significance but bringing them into contention with the rest of the field and not being the Heavy Bomber of Battlefield 2042 - like the one in Battlefield 1 :)
I think I included in our updates notes once that the penguins hadn't invented adamantium yet, I believe that is still the case... turn that hatchet in for inspect please.
