Week 1 // The Assault on Nordvik - Conquest Assault // December 20-27

The notorious Black Storm regiment leads the attack on Nordvik. While the Eastern militia attempts to seize the surrounding territory, the Nordvik Control Corps battles to secure the region, halting Black Storm’s advance before it is too late.

This is 32v32 Conquest Assault with a focus on fast-paced ground-only warfare. The conflict starts with the defending team holding all objectives and waiting for the incoming assault. Every decision matters as you fight over key positions across the Battlefield.

Hey folks, Good news!

Double XP will be active across all Battlefield 2042 modes from now (Dec 16th) until Monday, 19th December at 12:00 UTC.

While you can expect to see more 2XP events through Season 3: Escalation and beyond - Now is the prime moment for you to jump in, squad up, and work with your team to achieve those wins!

This is speaking towards the heli bombs that had previously been a little too stealthy. Hopefully this improvement should help in situational awareness of those things about to land on your head.

Hey there, unfortunately, it's not possible to play with Xbox One or PS4 players if you're on PC. There is no cross-generation play with Battlefield 2042.

Gen 9: PC, Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 have the ability to play together
Gen 8: Xbox One & PlayStation 4 have the ability to play together

Cross-progression is available to you, as well as cross-platform if you're on the same generation of hardware.

Unfortunately, cross-gen play is not something supported with Battlefield 2042. It's a different variant of the game, and as such it simply isn't possible.
