Read moreHey everyone,
Since Battle Royale launched, the matchmaking strategy for our core modes has remained mostly unchanged. Over the past two years, however, the range of player skill has grown considerably. In Arena, we use Hype-based matchmaking to ensure players are matched evenly across platforms.
In the v10.40 update, we’re introducing improved matchmaking logic to Battle Royale core modes to create fairer matches. What does this mean? You will be more likely to match with players of similar skill, and as you get better, so should your opponents. We will slowly roll this out to all regions across Battle Royale core modes as we test and monitor how it performs. We’re excited to get this out for everyone to play with and will continue to update the system. We’ll update...

It’s been awesome seeing all of you supporting your favorite Creators in the Battle Royale Item Shop, Save the World Loot page, and the Epic Games store. As of the v10.31 update, you can support your favorite Creators in a whole new way! Creator codes can now be used on real-money Packs*.
How To Do This
The process for supporting your favorite creator has not changed. The same Support-A-Creator code that’s used in the Item Shop will now be applied to any real money Packs purchased. If you’d like to change who you’re supporting, simply navigate to the Support-A-Creator button found at the bottom right of the screen when in the Item Shop.
*Please Note: For any Packs that contain V-Bucks, the revenue ...

We’re testing a new feature that gives you the power to vote for what comes back to a new Item Shop slot: Community Choice! When this feature is available, Item Shop content will battle against one another, and you can place your vote on what returns for an encore.
How Does It Work?
For each Community Choice event, you can vote once a day in support of the item you want to see return. While your daily vote is locked once you confirm a choice, you can vote for other items on any following days for the duration of the event. Be sure to log-in each day to get a new vote and show your support!
At the end of the Community Choice countdown, all player votes will be tallied up and the winner will be available in the Item Shop for...
