Highlights

7.4 “Chains in the Dark” Missions, Daily Areas & Story Fixes

Memory Heist

• Players can no longer enter the Mouse Droid Puzzle cell if the force field is activated. 
• Interacting with the book will trigger the Prison Warden walking to the location cell as intended.

Kessan’s Landing Daily Area

• Updated the [WEEKLY Daily Area: Ord Mantell] to include [HEROIC 2+: Volcanic Disruption].
  • This update will reset the mission for players that currently have the mission active.
• The "Separatist Elimination Requisition Cache" now rewards Tech Fragments instead of Conquest Commendations as intended.
• Added text to indicate Mantellian/Separatist Mount hover turrets have a Flourish.
• FR3-DOM World Boss voice has been fixed.

With Game Update 7.4, players will experience a never before seen area on Ord Mantell called Kessan’s Landing, obtain new Achievements and Reputation rewards in the Daily Area, take on the FR3-D0M World Boss, and more! Details on what players can expect from this new update are below!

“Chains in the Dark” storyline

Kessan’s Landing is a new Daily Area on Ord Mantell. Players will find that they can complete repeatable missions, and obtain new Achievements and Reputation rewards. There will also be a chain of side missions that will take players all over the galaxy, allowing them to assemble a piece of tech that will be very useful on Kessan’s Landing.

Game Update 7.4a

General

• The issue causing some players game client to crash or have memory leaks has been fixed.

Missions

• The "A Helping Hand: Deliver Supplies to Ord Mantell Outposts" spawn timers have been reduced.

Items

• The Zakuulan Exile's Blaster, Offhand Blaster, Rifle and Sniper Rifle are now visible both in game and during the preview screens.
• Previewing a decoration sold from a vendor now opens the decoration preview as intended.

Gear

• Hyde and Zeek are now offering the 340 Zeek's Deconstruction missions to players who completed all other Zeek's Deconstruction missions.

GTN

• Using the search function now shows all categories.
• Search categories that do not have a subcateory will be able to be searched with just a category selection.  i.e. Mounts, Pets and Ship Upgrades will now work by selecting th...

This is an exciting opportunity for all players current, returning, and new who reside in the APAC region. Our established players can enjoy the nostalgia of the game, build new communities within APAC, and offer guidance to new players. Those who will be starting their adventure for the first time will have over 12 years of content, stories, and fun to enjoy in their Star Wars™ journey.

Hi everyone - Rob Denton here, President of Broadsword Online Games. Now that some time has passed, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share some details on Star Wars™: The Old Republic and Broadsword. First off, I'm thrilled that the SWTOR team has joined Broadsword. During my time at BioWare, I worked on the game (and closely with the team) for several years and helped support the 2011 launch, so it's very near to my heart.

Keith Kanneg, as the Executive Producer, sets the vision for the game, and he’ll continue to maintain the relationship with Lucasfilm Games and Electronic Arts. Keith and I will work closely together to ensure that SWTOR continues to grow, thrive and be the amazing game that you all love.

• Players will no longer see map markers for Galactic Season 5 Missions that they are not currently on.

• The conversation in Galactic Season 5: Chains or Freedom with Lord Umbral will no longer reset itself in some cases.

• All mission items from the Galactic Season track are now Bound to Legacy (previously Bound to Character)

• All Galactic Season 5 Mission items have been added to Collections.

• Galactic Season 5 Mission items are now unlocked for purchase from the Galactic Season Rewards Vendor based on your Galactic Season level (previously was based on your Mission Progress).
