During the Game Update 7.4.1 livestream, Narrative Director, Ashley Ruhl, and Lead Writer, Caitlin Sullivan Kelly, announced a new narrative feature that will be debuting in Game Update 7.4.1. 

Date Night Companion Missions are designed to give players personal time with their love interests. These weekly repeatable Alliance Alert missions feature fully-voiced, cinematic-only scenes that are unique to the partner’s interest, whether that's going out for drinks at the cantina, a thought-provoking game of Dejarik, or maybe even some sparring practice.

Hi folks! 

We’re coming up on the tail end of Q1 for 2024, and there’s quite a lot that’s happened since my anniversary post last year. We’re seeing new players and returning players jumping into SWTOR, so I wanted to provide a recap of what’s been happening in the game since Update 7.4 went out in December.

Pirate Incursion
Date: April 2 - April 9 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 20+

The remote planet Dantooine has been thrust into the center of escalating hostilities between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. • The Northwestern, Northeastern and Southeastern "Eyto Eyto" mounts are now correctly available for purchase from their respective Galactic Season vendors on the Fleet.

Rakghoul Resurgence on Corellia
Date: March 5 - March 12 (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 25+

The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) has issued an official level-2 emergency alert concerning an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Corellia. Quarantines have been put in place to restrict traffic of the plague off-world, but exceptions will be made for individuals with priority clearance.

T.H.O.R.N. is recruiting qualified volunteer emergency responders to travel to affected areas to combat the spread of the Rakghoul plague. More information about the outbreak can be found by checking the News Terminals on the Republic or Imperial Fleet!

Hi, folks!

Today marks our 12th anniversary, and what a year it has been. I am once again reflective of everything that has transpired in 2023, and I couldn’t be more proud of the Star Wars™: The Old Republic team. 

We began the year by deploying the 64-bit client to all players, releasing Galactic Seasons 4 "Passage of Peace”, PvP Season 2 “Piercing the Veil”, and opened a test server in the Asia-Pacific region completely hosted in the cloud. It was an incredible kickoff to the new year, and we were delighted to see a lot of months of prep come to fruition. 

Midway through the year, the development team transitioned to Broadsword and delivered Game Update 7.3 “Old Wounds” which was full of new content, including a story update, the Shrine of Silence Flashpoint, and an entirely new area on Voss called the Interpreter’s Retreat. Game...
