Early heads up that the Scurvy Shoals Ventures Season will be making its last plunder on June 20 at 8 PM ET, giving ye’ plenty of time to collect ye’ treasure!

Also, Sea Wolf Jonesy and the Bundlebuss will be returning to the Event Store on May 22 at 8 PM ET. After that, Freebooter Ken will make his cunning return to the Event Store on May 29 at 8 PM ET.

Downtime for v20.40 has ended and Sideways Showdown week has begun!

From now until next Tuesday — the Sideways Rifle and Sideways Minigun are out of the vault and bring a set of new quests to earn some extra XP.

Time to vote! Funding stations have been set up for the next round of voting – Shield Bubbles or Balloons?

Along with the new additions to the game come a couple of quality improvements:

• Latency Reductions for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
• V-Bucks purchased on Playstation join the Fortnite Shared Wallet.

Downtime for v20.20 has ended. At the beginning of the season, we adjusted Storm Surge damage to hit players every 10 seconds when Storm Surge became active. We have reverted that change back to every 5 seconds in v20.20. Stay tuned for more information on this season’s FNCS competition soon.

Downtime for v20.20 has ended and the Battle for Condo Canyon is a victory for The Seven! The resistance continues though with new lines drawn at Coney Crossroads.

v20.20 also introduces the new Ranger Shotgun as well as a preview weekend for the next global effort starting on Friday - your choice between the Boogie Bomb vs the Rift-To-Go.

Make sure to check out the new Covert Ops questlines AND the quests to unlock Prowler which will become available at 9am ET!

The v20.10 adds a new weapon to take care of those pesky vehicles, and an update to the Wildlife, Creature, and Guard spawners.

Chapter 3, Season 2 Competitive Preseason has ended. There are not any notable changes to competitive playlists with this patch.

To recap from last week, we made some meaningful changes to the following items:

• Combat and Stinger SMG damage to players and structures reduced
• Combat SMG headshot damage reduced to match the Stinger
• We also removed Titans (tanks) and Vehicle Mod: Cow Catcher from competitive playlists.

v19.40 brings you Amazing Web Week! From March 1 to March 8, 2022, at 8:59 AM ET, find Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters as Chest loot on the Island (in addition to their regular spots!). As well as the many Web-Shooters that will be found around the Island, Bouncers have also been unvaulted for Amazing Web Week!

v19.40 also introduces Proximity Voice chat in Imposters! This means you will now hear those who are around you. Voice chat is still split between players who are and aren’t eliminated (eliminated players will not be able to speak but they can still listen!) while mixing both the Agents and Impostors together.
