@windowtwink The system does record huge amounts of data about things that happened for use in art descriptions. But showing this raw data as a step-by-step narrative wouldn't work; it lacks the linkages ("X caused Y caused Z") and emphasis that makes a narrative work. /2

Computers don't understand the meaning of events, so they can't understand what you consider important enough to be an interesting event or not. /1

Imagine an RPG dungeon was actually real. It would be unbelievably terrifying. People going into a dark unmapped tunnel network where they mostly get torn apart, poisoned, and burned to death by hideous creatures.

Every fantasy RPG is a horror game.
