I got an invite, so I decided to invite 4 friends and my wife. The 4 friends got their email, and my wife did not. We've checked all her emails + junk folders. Nothing. Is there anything we can do to get another invite sent? :)
It's possible your wife's account is currently "Opted Out" of receiving Ubisoft Marketing Emails. This can be changed in your Marketing Preferences
Also possible it has landed in her spam.

You can only register with the account that has been invited.
Check your email for a TTS notification if it isn’t there then wait

Thank you. Do we know how long a mission will be in terms of minutes? Also, does this game have a chance of survival more than 1-2 months or will we see a drop in interest quite quickly - what would your bet be based in what you know right now?
People were saying that this looks like a “free to play” game reusing assets - that doesn’t sound promising. Is Ubi communicating something that would change that perception in terms of some brilliant gameplay loop that I have not read about?
To give you some idea of the scope of the game.
As others have said, you have a 15-min timer to complete each of the 3 sub zones in each map. So in theory, the max length of a regular game mode play session will be 45 mins.
But it will all depend on the Objectives you encounter and the difficulty you are playing under. People have only seen the game played on the easiest difficulty level on the easiest maps so far and in full squads of 3.
Add the harder difficulties to the mix and try playing Solo and you suddenly have a game that can be extremely difficult. (I'm speaking from experience as I've only played the game solo)
Add to this the things you haven't seen at all yet:
Proteans (I've yet to defeat one)
Maelstrom Protocol/Ranked/Leaderboard Mode (The most difficult mode in the game)
Post Launch Events/Ops
Other "Things" we haven't mentioned at all yet that will add more challenges for you to try.

Just for further clarification: The Outbreak event and Extraction are within the same universe, which is a alternative reality to that of Siege.

I appreciate that some people may not be able to view it on the Epic Games Store currently but I imagine that is only temporary. You'll for sure be able to pre-order it every where mentioned on the website once the new exact release date has officially been announced.

Unfortunately, I don't have Specs to share at this point but a good basis is Siege, so if you can run Siege well enough you should be ok with Extraction!

Aren't they going to do something like Siege where they offer regular content updates, and not paid dlc? I think that was mentioned in an FAQ somewhere.
It was confirmed in the Official Gameplay Overview Trailer released about a month ago that the post launch content for the game will be free.

You’ve come in awfully strong here on Crossplay.
Extraction is a totally PvE game so there’s nothing to worry about with Crossplay.
You can still choose not to play with PC players if you are on Console in Extraction.
Even in Siege they are not bringing in Crossplay between Console and PC. Only between PC and Stadia/Luna (Already there) and between Xbox & PS (early next year I believe?)
So I’m not sure why you are making this point here but in any case, Crossplay is going to be a staple of almost every single multiplayer game releases from here on out across the industry.

I'd imagine this is more an easter egg related to the Outbreak event rather than Extraction.
I believe the Smasher still is from one of the Outbreak CGIs where Ash/Thermite says something like "When we hit them with ordinance they built this"
