I've just edited the post to clarify that Warden's Zone Attack is meant to be dodgeable and will be changed tomorrow to be dodgeable. It is not supposed to have a blue flash and won't be receiving one. Apologies for the confusion!

Hello Warriors!

Tomorrow we will perform a maintenance that will resolve a few issues.

Time: Thursday 18th March - 9am EDT / 13:00 UTC.

Down-time: Estimated at 45 minutes.

Hey Warriors! We have been focused on creating resources for new/returning players lately, and this video is a part of our Gameplan series. We hope you (or your friends who are newer to the game) find it informative. :)

Awesome! I'll PM you the address of a sketchy parking lot, you can drop them off there in a cooler.

Edit: included whole quote

I removed this because that sentence clearly shouldn't have made it into the final draft. It had no purpose and I literally don't know what I meant by it - I think I was just trying to simplify the advice for newer players who might wonder "wait why are deflects easier in top guard?"

Thanks for pointing this out.

Hey there! Reading through the rest of the feedback, but I think it's important to mention that we said Testing Grounds would be coming with more frequency: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/919019554?t=0h51m11s .

Tbh, my favorite replies so far are the ones that are just serious answers where you can tell the person did their height homework.

The dev comment below it says "This damage change should...", pretty much confirming it as a typo

Edit: It's fixed

Copy and pasting error on my part, the article corrections are now live but I'll post them here:

· Heavy Attacks

o Each Heavy Attack now deals 2 more damage than before

§ This includes Dodge Attacks

o Heavy Finishers gain Unblockable if Peacekeeper is locked on to an opponent suffering from Bleed

Developer's comment: The change to damage ensures that Peacekeeper is still slightly above the curve in damage without being overboard like it was in the Testing Grounds.

The change to Heavy Finishers also gives her extra synergy with her Bleeds, which lets her loop back into Bleed if one of its options successfully lands.

Also, the section below was omitted by mistake:

· Deflect

o Deflect is now performed with the Heavy attack button instead of the Light attack button

Developer's comment: Many heroes share inputs with their Deflect ...

Thank you! :)

We try to make the right decision for each hero. I understand anyone looking forward to Warden/Shugoki's changes being frustrated, but we felt we needed to do more work on those changes in response to TG feedback.

Fight changes coming in tomorrow's update will include:

  • Target Cycling
  • Peacekeeper
  • Nobushi

It's a suggestion we've discussed seriously both internally and externally. I don't have any news, but yes it's a concern that's been on our radar.

Peacekeeper:

- Guardbreak damage is still untouched, needs to be toned down from 38.

- Unblockable heavy damage + bleed is 36, 49 if counting the bleed to get the unblockable. Also needs adjustments.

- Dodge heavies have 1000ms recovery, that is problematic for her as she loses the ability to chase in teamfights due to being punished quite heavily for it.

Warden:

- Unblockable finishers do 35 side, 34 top. Damage doesn't need to be toned down too much but sides doing more is weird.

Shugoki:

- Demon's Embrace recovery is still awful and now the move can be zone option selected, it's not very great without the Hyper Armour.

Nobushi:

- Kick needs to be sped up to 500ms to make her on par with other characters.

- Her old dodge cancel recoveries I believe should be brought back to make her flow even better in combat...

Not intrusive at all! I'd be more shocked if people didn't ask questions about our balance plans.

I'm not able to provide concrete news on those two. That being said, they're clear stand-outs for me in terms of the amount of feedback we're getting and the memes ("better nerf Shinobi again", "they gave Aramusha cinder blocks" etc.). The dev team is aware that they're perceived as having problems. I can't give much further info than that, as for right now we need to focus on Gryphon + the current set of Testing Grounds heroes.

His Dash melee is nothing more than his headbutt which still guarantees nothing besides the worst stun in game with no actual damage. It can also only be done from side dashes... I was hoping for a forward dash bash similar to Warlord or BP for that pressure, but unfortunately that's not the case.

The dash forward heavy has the trademark of all samurai which is minimal tracking, unfientable, with no armor frame or recovery canceling properties. Much like Hito and Kensei.

Hug tracking was also altered on top of its armor frame removal and it is atrocious.

In order to play this character now you're basically waiting for guard breaks.

I'm open for change, but deep in my lil'Shugo heart I feel as though this is not the way. If you're reading this Ubi thank you for continuing to support For Honor through thick and thin!

Thanks Grizzly_Spirit! Appreciate you for sticking with us.
