I hold to aim because it feels like I have more control over getting in and out of ADS. Also, to Igotdild's point, I am definitely way more used to holding.

Can you be a little more specific about what you're referring to? Some guns have a laser under-barrel attachment, if you're talking about seeing the laser sight in game, and Nomads air-jab deplorer has a very visible laser on it.
Unless you're referring to a skin of some nature?

I swap defenders around a lot, but recently I've been hard stuck on playing Aruni. I absolutely love the MK and having the utility denial/being able to slow down rushes/ audio cues of the Surya gates.

For Attack, I usually find myself playing Kali or Mav. I've been playing sniper-type characters since childhood, so the draw to Kali is immediate. Plus, knocking out spawn-peeks and nailing quick scopes, or even just getting a long-distance kill is a super satisfying feeling to me.
For Mav, it's really just because i love getting sneaky kills. or being able to pop up in unexpected places is a pseudo-stealthy manner.

This has been, from what I have seen, a divisive community topic. Personally, for me, I really like new Tachanka. The DP-27, even with its slow fire rate, is an absolute beast of a gun, and the Shumikha launcher is a great area denial tool and a couple well placed ones can effectively deal with shield ops or slow down a rush.

I have found that Siege with friends makes the experience exponentially better! Lets you control whether you want to sweat it out in some comp or just goof off in casual.
