Remove the possibility of getting him in ranked trough the random pick chance. Its frustrating to get a recruit when you have all the more useful ops that can do some good.

It's because the hostage was injured by a trap you set off. It would be the same if your teammate cooked a grenade and rolled it towards the hostage. The person who initiated the blast would be responsible for any team, or in this case, hostage damage that is taken.

I like those maps too, so you're not alone. At this moment I don't have an ETA on when the casual maps will be rotated, but I do know it's happening with the mid-season patch. When we have more information on that, we'll be sure to share though our social channels and website :)

I apologize that you've all been experiencing issues connecting to the game, I know how frustrating it can be! First, I would suggest opening UPlay and trying to launch the game from there. If that doesn't work, definitely open up a Support Case [support.ubi.com] with our team so they can troubleshoot you.

It sounds like you'll need to appeal the ban. That isn't something we can take care of on Steam, so I would suggest taking the issue to Ubisoft Support [support.ubi.com] so they can look into the matter for you.
