Patch 1.1.7.3 is now live for PC. This patch addresses the player power issues that arose from the Infinity difficulty tier and resolves the associated character loading issues. It also brings a number of other improvements to controller gameplay, online behaviour, and, of course, bug fixes.

As always, if there is an ongoing issue you don't see a fix for here, be assured that we will address it in a subsequent patch.

We would also like to re-remind players not to complete the ""Ward the Palace"" project in the Regent Assembly as it can cause a disconnection or crash during phase 3 of the Ahriman fight. We are actively working on a fix, due in the next patch.

Now that we have put Chapter 4 in your hands, we are entering a new development phase dedicated solely to improving the existing game.

While we are very proud of our teams and their efforts in developing and testing the game, we are aware that it is not perfect, and nothing beats player feedback when it comes to identifying bugs and improvements for gameplay features. We will continue actively monitoring, gathering, and analysing the feedback you send us. Even if we cannot respond to every individual, please know we are very grateful to everyone who has taken the time to send us their valuable feedback.

We want to assure everyone that we will focus on fixing outstanding issues over the coming months, improving core gameplay, and refining key features. Here is bugfixing patch 1.1.6.9., which fixes an issue that caused skills to become unresponsive, resolves several softlocks, and adds some more tweaks to Wolcen's online component.

On today's menu is bugfixing patch 1.1.6.8., featuring an important fix for offline players.



  • Offline players can once again be FABULOUS. We have fixed an issue where newly collected dyes and armour skins would not save to the Cosmetics Menu after ending an offline play session.
  • Fixed an issue for gamepads where input would be partially lost when opening a menu after receiving a notification.
  • Fixed an issue which could cause the player to teleport unexpectedly to a different area when using certain abilities in certain spots.
  • Further checks have been put in place around the online use of enneracts and dyes to prevent potential desynchronisation.

This patch will appear in-game as 1.1.6.6 due to a backend adjustment.

A big thank you to everyone who has submitted bug reports to us! If you don't see a fix here for a bug that you have previously reported be assured we will tackle it when and where possible in future patches.

  • Fixed an issue that would cause some online players to receive a "Disconnected from server" error when loading into an online game. This particular cause was related to pending city rewards that had failed to deliver correctly from the old back-end.

  • Fixed an issue where accounts that have already completed the Story in Legacy mode would display Champion of Stormfall mode as locked.
  • Fixed an issue where some NPCs would be in T-pose during a cutscene in the Vault of Hope in Chapter 2.
  • Fixed an issue where the visual effect that indicates hits would not display if the character took damage that was entirely absorbed by their force shield.
  • Fixed an issue where the game would sometimes crash after a long period of inactivity.
  • Fixed an issue where the position of the "Do not show again" checkbox in the difficulty selection of the War Table wouldn't be properly centered.

For this month’s Development Update we will be giving you a sneak peek at part of the upcoming controller support, the necessary UI revamps, and the quality of life changes coming for all players!

Our controller support implementation is about more than just reassigning gameplay controls: nearly every UI element has been revisited and revised in a way that will benefit all players, whether they use a controller or a keyboard & mouse (or both!).   • Added an animation showing the number of skulls earned, difficulty level and difficulty tiers unlocked when opening the War Table.

  • While Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem does not officially support ultrawide resolutions, some elements have been tweaked in the background as a temporary fix and should now enable the full use of the War Table for ultrawide users.
  • This patch includes a fix that is the first of a series of fixes for the various sources of the null_umbra_item issue and resulting inventory issues. This particular fix is for an issue that would cause an item desynchronisation specifically when crafting in online mode and, in turn, cause inventory issues. This is only a partial fix to the overall problem but removes one of its causes.

Wolcen; Aegis of Stormfall, patch 1.1.5.0, is now live. This patch brings:
  • A new end-game system: the War Table;
  • New monsters;
  • New damage type variations for some skills;
  • A new environment;

The War Table is the new feature introduced with Aegis of Stormfall and allows the player to partake in four new End-Game activities on top of Expeditions, scaled Mandates, and the Wrath of Sarisel. These new Operations are:

Today we want to share more details on our short term workflow, upcoming changes and things we are working on, including:
  • Unique items improvements
  • Controller Support & UI improvements
We announced in our previous Monthly Update that we wanted to keep bug fixing at the center of our production cycle and that we aimed to release more frequent bug fixing patches between content patches. Since then we have pushed 3 bug fixing patches in the past 3 weeks to address specific issues reported by the community, whilst also targeting older issues that hadn’t been fixed yet.

We’re now entering a period where we want to focus on our next content patch, which should drop around the end of October/early November and bring:
