We’re aware of frequent disconnects when mounting up in this latest PTR build, and will fix as soon as we can. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Beta and PTR are now restarting to clear this issue up. Should be back up in 15 minutes or less.

If you were only seeing the “Torghast” Beta Realm, can you please retest? We just made another change that should allow you to see all 3. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Just wanted to confirm that this is not intended, all Beta testers should have access to all the Beta realms.

We have been investigating into this and believe we have found the root cause. If you have Beta access and were only able to see the Torghast Realm, you should be able to see all 3 realms now.

Fixed all the characters above.

Alright, all of the characters listed above should be clear of the visual effect. Like I posted above, it might happen again, but it should only last for 60 seconds (which is a band-aid fix while we work on the core bug).

This is a high priority bug that we’ve been trying to fix for quite a while. It’s still occurring, but we’ve made some tweaks to make it less disruptive to your testing while we figure out a true, permanent fix: going forward if it gets stuck on your character now, it should fade after 60 seconds.

However, if you already had it stuck on your character, it likely won’t be retroactively removed by this fix, since the hidden aura is already applied to your character. Queuing for arenas can remove it, since that forces some aura refreshes.

Alternatively, because I know this visual effect is obnoxious and distracting, I can try to remove it manually myself, but I make no guarantees about it. If you want me to try, you can post the following information here and I’ll try to handle it over the next day or so.

We deployed a new client build, 35707, to PTR and Beta that has resolved this particular client crash. There’s still a few other crashes that you might run into, so please keep leaving comments in the crash reporter if you encounter them.

Just wanted to say this is definitely on our radar and we’re working to resolve this as soon as we can.

Hi all, we’ve been investigating and working on this issue since the servers came up with this build: you’re not doing anything wrong, it’s definitely on our end!

We’re still plugging away on a fix but I didn’t want everybody to think we weren’t aware of this. Thanks for testing!

Can you check again for me? We pushed a fix for “The Rescue of Meredy Huntswell” a day or two ago, but if it’s still broken please let me know what you are seeing.

If you exit the WoW client and update it via the Battle.net App, it should prompt an update to build 35432 which looks to have cleared up most/all of these problems. Apologies for the delay!

Yeah, the DB got into a bad state and that usually manifests as blank character selection screen, issues loading onto a character, and then trouble “saving” your character in-game like when you get loot, turn in a quest, etc.

We’ve made some initial fixes that seem to be helping, and we’ll continue to monitor and fix. If you were having problems earlier I’d recommend trying again now.
