Solo only or private with a group of up to 4? Maybe I'm missing something here, but if solo queues require a server anyway, wouldn't it be more efficient to add private queues and let players scale the group size to meet their needs?

As far as the wound damage: everyone was given the same cloned account, and it happened to have every weapon reforged 2x. When you reforged pike you do more wound dmg, so that explains that!
I was incorrect!! The wound thing was happening because of reforging, but it's a bug! Getting it fixed now, thank you <3

First of all I´m grateful for the chance to test out the new escalation and I enjoyed seeing the new environment. I also enjoyed trying out the new Warden marks mechanic and the new esca- perks.
I played 4 escas in total- 3 solo (1-13) and 1 in a team of four (10-50)
I played the three solo escas (1-13) without unlocking any of the perks and heres my thought from those playthroughs
- Frostbite was too easy to handle. I never got above 50, maybe never even above 30. I didnt change the pre-made build all that much so maybe it would be more difficult with my own build. Maybe put one fire before and after every fight, but make them a bit more effective.
- I believe the distance between the fights might need to be shortened, but not by a lot. The time it took to get from one fight to the next is just long enough fo...

I'm not entirely sure if this is some combination of unintended effects but hitting stagger values (without investing into things like knock out king, etc) of 45k+ had made the entire thing easy for me personally. The frost bite mechanic was pretty neglible (both in groups and solo) and the only time I felt I had clutch moments with frost bite is when ever I ran the talent "never bothered me anyway" which cut the effective maximum of the bar by half.
If you want the frost bite mechanic to feel like a real threat, it definitely needs a tune up because it's way too easy to ignore in solo and in groups it's clearly even easier.

Right off the bat, you guys make the visuals of this game so easy on the eyes, I have an animation background so I'm always looking at details and I love the art in this game and its the main reason why I started playing in the first place.

You guys are my happy place, and being a front line worker, and coming out of working on a COVID positive outbreak unit over Christmas where I saw 8 people die, 12 of my coworkers get sick and I missed going home and being with my family due to risk of infection, it was the one small thing I could hold onto that was normal. i ve tested the experimental, first of all its cool realy good job you guys .
there are few issues such as without getting full esca talent points (25) it would be realy hard to go 10 to 50
there are few parkour issues, such as you may fall trying to find the path, its a bit coplicated run beamoth to beamoth.
there is this heat issue, even tho you go the areas that will heat you its just works for a second, wouldnt be better if its work for longer perriod?
but my main issue is the parkour. you go to heat and turn arround... you made it so confusing. i ve got lost feew times :D
also i would like to update other armours to try if it works better but we can only test with your choice.
ohh alsoo new everyday collectibles its imposible to see them.

Read moreFrom my testing around in the Experiment, I found just a few things. First off, all weapons are doing wound damage? Is this a glitch from pike reforge or is it how pike reforge is supposed to happen? I do have video evidence of this without me having barbed or acidic on my build at all. Second, though I couldn't do some of the more questionable tests I wanted to do with the frost wall as I only had 1-13 instead of 10-50. There are tests i wanted to do with showd and reza that the partners I watched did not do. Anyways. The wall needs a slight cooldown or damage nerf. The 700-800 damage it does per wall and being able to spam it nonstop makes any level 20 weapon do about 2,000 dps on the build i was using which would have probably been around 3,000-4,000 dps if I was able to make a proper build. When interrupting with the wall, I noticed that it only booped when the wall was still being built while the bahemoth hit it instead of interuppting if they hit an already built wall. I also...

This time around we have invited a random sample of players who have killed Valomyr at least once to test out Frost Escalation.
Hahaha. Our reasoning is that we want players who have reached mid-to-late-game for this test, and Valomyr is the only Behemoth who really matches that description since most other behemoths show up in Escalation for all players.

"Skill checks" are not skippable for plat -- for example step 2 of the Mane Attraction rumour.
Other parts of that rumor are skippable with plat since they are not skill based.

PHX have stated that our feedback isn't enough. ThEy NeEd ThE dAtA before they'll make any changes. That data apparently includes 'time logged in', and 'slayer activity/hunt duration'... so if people want Private Hunts reinstated, the best thing to do is to literally stop playing the game. I think that's f**ked and I would much rather PHX actually place importance on player feedback rather than basically forcing us to go on hiatus, but this is only the latest in a string of stupid decisions they've made so I don't have much faith in them. If you're interested in these other 'stupid decisions', then look into the re-introduction of the Overgrowth hunt pass, how they implemented the vault, how they constantly mis-interpret well spoken feedback, and can't even produce a decent survey.
It's true that we are wating for data and balancing that against the feedback we are hearing. It's not that we don't trust the feedback -- it's that we want to make sure that player feedback AND behaviour are taken into account in case the behaviour we see does not match up with the most vocal feedback. We now have a month of data to look at since the launch of Reforged so expect an update from us soon!
