Hard, sure. Insanely? Not really.
It is insanely hard for me and I have thousands of hours (albeit as a dev) in the game. For me it is insanely difficult but I wouldn't say I'm "great" at the game by any means. Cataclysm is way harder than legend though

We recently made a change that allow you to play weaves with bots aswell as a few tweaks. It's still hard as nails so if you're thinking of jumping in I would suggest being really deep into the main game before trying it out

Back to Ubersreik contains three missions (and a hidden one) and 5 new weapons. Winds of Magic contains the weave game mode with 40 separate smaller missions spread out over 160 different challenges (that you can play with bots) with a unique weapon customization system , one adventure mission, 5 new weapons, an insanely hard difficulty and a new enemy faction.
Whether a DLC is worth it to you or not I will leave to the community

On PC we store the prologue status in your local save data so when switching PC the save get reset. The save only include your settings aswell as your prologue status so all your progress and inventory is safe.

This is not intended. It fell through the cracks when we did our rework of weaves. I will fix this immediately and it will be included in the next patch. Sorry about that.

The playerbase isn't as large as on steam and most people on xbox play on champion/legend difficulty. I'll let the community tell you if it's worth it or not for you. I would say the quslity of the game is at least on par though

The bot priority bug is on me. It is fixed internally but we haven't had the time to patch just yet because of the versus beta. Sorry about that

On consoles there is an option to play completely offline (no xbox live/psn+ requirement). The online data and offline data are separated. Whenever you play online we mirror all online progress in your save file so if you want replace/update your offline data with your current online data there is an option for that when choosing offline mode. This is mostly for players that have been playing online for a while but having their psn+/xbox live subscription lapse for whatever reason so they can continue playing at the same progress level if that make sense
