It was supposed to be out by now already, Riot Prism confirmed on Twitter.
I'm guessing they first rolled it out on mobile first because rolling it out at once is challenging to the system. Or because virtually any change they introduce to the story fails and needs a hotfix (Lux's chalices is a recent example much like the current case).

We're releasing it region by region as Riot Prism said, even for mobile (enabling it). It's a best practice for a safer/stabler roll out method for feature launches.

I like this QoL change.
If you get the Mythic chibi or arena on your first roll, you can just save the rest of your currency until the next mythic release.
I didn’t see any percents, so my assumption is that it’s a little harder to roll higher tier items now that there’s more being added to the mix. But I could be totally wrong here

I don't normally spend money on cosmetics for TFT but my understanding is that this is just a QoL change at the very least? And at best if you spent a lot more money on cosmetics than you needed in order to get what you wanted, you can "roll over" the money you spent towards future cosmetics (the "promise token" mechanic)?

Until they add one onto Jinx’s firecracker skin then I have to hate it on principle. But after that, or when they release another chibi champion like this that I’d actually want to get, it’ll be the best thing ever implemented into a video game.
