Naval Enduring Confrontation is available again!

Commanders, we invite you to another round of naval battles in the Enduring Confrontation game mode. This time, we’ve added all of the existing EC missions into the rotation: Dover Strait, Saipan, Port Moresby, Malta and Denmark.


Naval confrontation will be available until the 25th of April, but testing may end earlier if we need to fix some bugs.

  • A bug has been fixed that made the Mission Editor unavailable for the following aircraft: A-10A, A-10A Late, F-104S.ASA, Su-22UM3K (Germany), MiG-23MLA (Germany), J-8B, Mirage F1C, Kfir C.2.
  • You are now able to purchase the April chest and the key in bulk of up to 100 pieces.
  • An option of skipping the April chest animation has been introduced.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

Better buoyancy in Arcade battles


Every installed modification on your ship makes her better, however some of them might not work in Arcade battles. We have fixed a bug that prevented some seakeeping modifications from their effect, such as “Dry docking”, “Rudder replacement”, “Propeller replacement”, “Engine maintenance”..

Thanks to your reports we managed to localise and fix the bug.

Here's the important dates info:

Event deadlines:
-Supply crates, Superweapon points and upgrade points can be obtained in battles from 12:00 GMT on the 7th of April until 12:00 GMT on the 18th of April.
-You can participate in battles on the game map until 12:00 GMT on the 25th of April.
-You may trade all event items except vehicle coupons on the Market until 11:30 GMT on the 25th of April.
-At 12:00 GMT on the 25th of April all event items except victory points and vehicle coupons will be removed from inventory and from the Market.
-At 12:00 GMT on the 2nd of May victory points will be removed from inventory. Exchange them for the event vehicles before this date!

We have a mode called Ground Simulator - it is tougher than realistic but you will match up against historical opponents. There's some matching for WW2, Axis vs Allies and Cold war.

For Realistic battles, for the most part, matching is still set up in a way in which you will face enemies that use different tanks to you. However, sometimes this wont always be the case.

New authentic decals

A new set of decals for rarity hunters! Until May 12th, purchase or earn in battle, rare decals for War Thunder gaming nations!
You can find these decals in the “Weeks latest” section in the customization tab, after which they will be available to their owners in the thematic sections of vehicle customization.

Tasks can be completed in vehicles of rank II-VII.
  • The requirements for the decals may be checked in the “Weeks latest” section in vehicle customization or in the Achievements → Decals → Weeks latest.
  • Tasks can be completed in random battles and events, except “Enduring Confrontation” and “Assault” missions.
  • Decals received earlier have been temporarily moved to the section “Weeks latest” and will be moved later to the thematic sections.
