It still didn’t seem to work :/ it’s still on the black screen after the 343 logo
Couple other things I can think of offhand:
Make sure your PC is fully up to date.
Make sure you update MCC fully; there was an update today.
Try signing into MCC using a different GT if it lets you to see if it's account related potentially.
Try changing the drive your game is installed to (if applicable/possible)
If none of that works, grab a DXDIAG and submit a ticket on Halo Support please!
I’m sorry, how would I do that?
It’s loaded up before, I’ve played reach for a bit but when it went to “update” on steam for a couple of gigabytes it started this black screen thing. Also I’ve tried reinstalling it twice now, looked around for some videos but could find nothing :/ I’m fairly new to pc so I wouldn’t want to accidentally delete anything I shouldn’t have (which I did and had to reinstall the whole game again) so now I’m just seeking help. But I’ll give it the 5-10 minute suggestion (: I haven’t tried that yet
Can you also try verifying your game's file integrity through Steam first?
How long have you waited on that blank screen in the past? If you don't wait very long, try giving it 5-10 minutes, it might be the initial Xbox Live services sync or something.
Beyond that, what troubleshooting have you tried?

I don't think one is more wrong than the other, it's like Star Wars trilogy talk right?
I'd say start with the one you find most interesting then go from there.
