Unturned's concurrent player count on Steam (70k) just broke the record high (60k) from 7.5 years ago! Any idea what is going on? 🤯

Regardless of any potential changes to the defaults, next Friday I will also add movement options for servers.
Do you like the changes to air strafing maneuverability? It seems like the most controversial change, and maybe it should be adjusted to some degree considering that all of the other movement is immediately responsive.

@P9ndaxd @StimBoozled I agree base building revamp + crafting revamp + electricity would be good updates. The network stuff this year so far has been laying the foundation for the first and third (on roadmap as well).
Interesting that the latest TF2 update mentions SteamNetworkingSockets. I did not think it does/did use SDR yet. 👀
@P9ndaxd Comparing full-time focus on new gameplay features to a few fixes I threw together at 1:00am on a Wednesday night. 🙃 Still getting tons of work done, but not on anything immediately obvious.
Was eagerly anticipating Deathloop but the reported stuttering on PC is a real bummer. Hopefully Arkane can address it soon. 🙁
@gaugepunk Sorry to provide unsolicited advise, but just in case: your old scene may actually be more efficient because Unity has optimizations for updating flat hierarchies in parallel. In the past Unturned had an organized scene like your new one, but flattening gave ~1-2ms improvement.
@SVG_Sig There are some intriguing maps in the works 👀 but to clarify: that comment was in regards to Elver coming to consoles in September.
