TIL developers on Steam can get per-game hardware survey results from the Sales & Activation Reports site. One helpful thing for Unturned is it shows the top non-English languages are Russian (13.6%) and Simplified Chinese (8.07%). Also 32-bit Windows was 0.07% of Sept players.
Thanks for the shoutout and kind words! ❤️
Always nice to see your old acquaintances hitting it big(ger). Shout out to @SDGNelson for years and years of hard work. https://t.co/AN4oJM3QuN
@dugfit Definitely!
@zman1064 @SilverBoi_ Uh oh
@imortum I do like that idea. Maybe a "painkiller" status effect once status effects are made more modular.
@tvnjestzlybotak Wow! This always seems to happen at the most unexpected times. 🤯
Visiting PEI (irl) today through next Tuesday. Back to regular updates after that!
Unturned's old (pre-3.22.16.0) item pickup sound was a kleenex being taken out of a tissue box, and the item drop sound was that same box being dropped on the desk. Probably the more of my old DIY records get replaced the better.😅

So far it is clear that a server option for the third-person recoil multiplier should be added. Intensity and recovery speed of explosion camera shake might need adjusting too.
Regarding flinch: Unturned has always had some camera flinch when hit, but the direction was random. Adding direction is intended to make it easier to know where you are being shot from. That being said, flinch on the pitch and yaw axes make it harder to return fire than roll.
@UnturnedOnSteam: Recoil changes, springier first-person procedural animations, directional flinch, explosion camera shake, and more in…
The next Unturned update will probably be on the 30th because I am away for a friend's wedding this Friday.
Currently on the preview branch along with other improvements like directional flinch when damaged, view rumble from explosions, and audio for items in the inventory. Thinking about gradually adjusting recoil: for example later making the muzzle direction affect bullet direction.
Playing around with increasing recoil for the next update:
👀plus conversion of the older "node" volumes.
"Cartography" editor volume for non-square maps in the next update:
@UnturnedOnSteam: Downward building, Washington theme music, big screenshots, nicer volumes editor, and more in the 3.22.14.0 Update Not…
@AnimaticFreak Don't you dare!
