Yeah that’s likely the issue what I would do is

1. uncheck “automatically mange paging file size”
2. Select your D:\ and then the radio button “System managed size”. Then click “Set”
3. If you’re running out of space on your c:\ you can select your C:\ and then select the radio button “no paging file” then click “Set”
4. you’ll need to reboot to make those changes

having 1GB free on your c:\ isnt super optimal as it can cause wierd issues if you run out of disk space on yoru OS drive. The OS wont’ outright crash, but it will start acting ‘weird’, until you free up disk space.

Given the game uses EOS it should be fine with the Epic launcher

I would probably try just exiting the client as a test, rather than unisntalling the client.

The minimum supported resolution is 1080p

My understanding is that the ability to even select 720p is a bug and it shouldn’t be available as an option.

Can you upload your dartide launcher log files as well. The console logs wont say much as you’re not getting to the point where it logs anything

Do you have paged files disabled on your computer? Because it kinda looks like you don’t have a paging file.

You may have to choose it this way if it uses Nvidia Optimus for graphical switching

1. try reverifying the game data in Steam

2. run steam as an administrator

3. disable your anti-virus as there seems to be some kind of file conflict going on in the logs

Can you post your console logs and launcher logs

But functionally you have to force the game to use the Nvidia card via the Nvidia Control Panel.

Your errors look like your anti-virus is killing the game

Please ensure you have whitelisting for the Darktide game in your anti-virus. As a test you can totally disable your anti-virus as well.

ANYWAY. I’ve been informed that in these cases unfortunately you will need to complete the criteria for the Penance once more, and then it will be awarded. It’s my understanding that we have no way around this at current.

Has it since returned?

We are aware of and looking in to an issue where some players are not receiving completion for Penances after a disconnection or crash, despite it appearing in Steam Achievements.

Whilst we are looking at underlying issue, we apologise that we are not able to manually complete Penances for players at this time.

Sorry about this. We’re working on the server disruption and the underlying issue of Penances not being awarded correctly, but we cannot manually complete the Penance for you due to us being in a Beta state.

Our servers are experiencing some serious disruption at current, please bear with us whilst we work to iron this out.
