Since that patch, every game I run first after a long hiatus (first match of the day, after lunch, etc) ALWAYS kicks me out 1/2-3/4 of the way through the map. After that, the game goes from a consistant 100+ fps to anywhere between 120 and 30 fps for the next map or two.

Their update royally f***ed something up with the anticheat. It see...

Violation type: unknown_game_file_version
Cause: bundle\[****************************]

Pretty much the same for me! Happens either at a random point in a matchmade game or right in the lobby when inviting friends.

The error Zen was getting should be resolved by just verifying files in steam. Does that fix it for you? What file are you getting?

If you right click the app in Steam and select Properties, then Betas and in the drop-down list select "Temp Launcher Workaround", then exit and re-launch Steam, does this help?

After reading the post about the .Net fix I download the older version figuring that it would be simple to roll it back and be off to another rat slaying adventure.

However, as computer literate as I am I can't seem to properly roll back to the recomened 4.5.2 version. I have checked for tutorials and guide on the process, but each one I find just leaves me more confused on how to proceed. If there is any one willing to give me some advice it would be much appreciated.

Oh I suppose I should mention that I'm running windows 8.1 as it would seem that the proceedure for this roll back changes with the version you have. Again any assistance would be welcomed, but I'm sure the devs will evetually come thru with a fix that dosen't involve hours of researc...

What sacrificial toast said.

If you got untrusted state with the 1.0.5.1 it's one of the file integrity checks that are failing so one of your files is likely corrupt, old or missing.

What happens when you get kicked, do you get any error popups or a panel in the top right of the HUD?

If not I would be very interested in one of your logs from %appdata%/Fatshark/Vermintide2/console_logs from a session where this happened.

This is a UI related crash that I don't think we have seen before. We'll be looking into this.

The graphics driver reports lost contact with the graphics card. We're working with NVidia to try to track down the problems related to this. In the mean time, updating the graphics driver *sometimes* helps and clean re-install of the driver, but no guarantees.

Can you post your session logs from a crash so I can take a look? Go to “C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs” and find the log that matches the session in which the problem occurred.

You can limit FPS to 60 in the options if it runs faster than that to lower the heat without affecting graphics quality.

Hello!

As you can see on the roadmap, the dedicated servers are on their way! This is not a lie - this is a confirmed and planned feature.

We are planning on pushing them into the game between April and May. I'm sorry to hear you are struggling with the current p2p system - this is something we are hoping to remedy with dedicated servers. We are working very hard to ensure that they are working correctly and without fault before we enter them into the game.

Cheers,
Hanna

Dedicated servers are done, but we didn't have the manpower to test them enough for release, they''ll be out in a short while.

You should of course get the maximul possible juice out of your computer.

Asking for your specs was just to see if we have some comparable hardware in our office to see if we can reproduce these issues so we can fix them. You really shouldn't have to alter process priority to get the maximum out of your rig so if this is a problem for you and other players this is something we want to fix as soon as possible.

nice way to ruin the game for people who want to gain an extra 30+ fps

Do you really get 30 more fps doing that? In that case something is wrong, you should not have to do that, we need to fix that. What are your specs and what is it you're running that is using the CPU with such high priority that you h... Read more

We are currently investigating this issue. It isn't common but it does occur and we definitely understand your frustration in losing your end game reward.

Just for context, today vermintide 2 broke the vermintide most simultaneous users ever record (set shortly after verminide 1 launch) and although things seem to flowing on pretty well, it's probably unavoidable that there will be some hiccoughs, all you can trust is that we're doing out utmost to ensure that any issues with load get resolved as soon as possible.

DX12 is still a work in progress, but your feedback if you run it is valuable.
