The curse is pandemic already

If files are getting corrupted it's not the game doing this. The game never writes to the source files, so it's likely something external like a failing harddrive, virus or other external factors.

Try enabling upnp in your router if it's not already enabled, also add the game to any firewall exception list you might have, be it hardware or software firewalls

I haven't been able to play this because I get the "Connection Timeout" error every time I try to join a lobby. If I press quickplay, nothing happens either. I just get an endless loop of "Starting search", "Found game", "Connecting to session"... Anyone have any idea what this could be? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide.

We are investigating but believe to begin with that this is an issue with our backend provider, we will keep you updated as we find out more.

edit: seems ok now. Further digging hasn't returned much, either this falls on our backend peeps or Steam (it wasn't us!) but for now, things seem to be returning to normal. Keep us apprised of your experiences. Thank you <3

I'd first suggest a clean uninstallation of your (I assume) Nvidia drivers and experience and try a complete reinstall of those.

Thank you for your report, I'll pop this over to development for investigation.

Saves are stored on our servers as opposed to the cloud. If you reinstalled, your game will 'think' you've not played, and prompt you to do the prologue, but you can just exit out of that to find all your things safe in the keep. :)

Does this issue occur with both DirectX 11 and 12? (Your DirectX version can be switched within the launcher)

Try altering the stacking frames option in the menus. (Sorry I'm on mobile and don't have access to the specific tab to check)

Try going through each instance of Visual Studio in your app list and repairing them (Select it, click modify [where possible, some do not allow] and select repair).

Let us know how it goes.

This is due to the widespread block the government has imposed on millions of IP addresses, including those that our provider use to connect players to the game's backend.

We're looking in to what can be done from our side but there's no quick fix for it I'm afraid. You can try to connect via VPN, however.
