Hi, we tried to find a key that not many players use, but also in a position where it's easily accessible, and it turns out it's quite hard to do as we have so many key binds :(

You can edit this key to whatever you want via: Controls > Aircraft > Visual weapon selector

Hi, this is likely the written off feature coming into play from the severe damage mechanic.

At the end of a battle, all severely damaged aircraft will be considered destroyed — players in this state will receive the following message: “Written off due to severe damage”. A death in the statistics will be credited, and the player who caused the severe damage will be credited with a destroyed aircraft, where the rest of the reward will be given. This is done so that players with a severely damaged aircraft don’t try to hide...

In the form they were released in the Seek & Destroy major update, yeah they won't come back like that. But in the future they might but improved / different.

Hi, please select the Air RB gamemode and then the settings icon on it to enable it. Please bare in mind that it's not 100% chance to get a smaller air battle - it's just a chance, depending on how many others have this option selected and are in the queue.

Yep:

Some players using third-party overlays such as Overwolf are experiencing issues with their keyboard and mouse functionality in War Thunder. We’re currently working on a solution for this issue, but for now we recommend that if your game has stopped responding to keyboard and mouse commands, disable overlays that use key and mouse inputs. According to the data we have, Steam and Nvidia overlays don’t cause any problem and can be left enabled.

We’ve disabled the use of custom sound mods for the time being due to conflicts with the current version of the game. If you’ve encountered a game client crash due to the use of sound mods, please submit a report on the CBR platform indicating the sound mod used and the crashID that you can get when sending a crash report. This will greatly help us restore the functionality of sound mods for all players as soon as possible.
