Season of Discovery Phase 2 has arrived. Adventurers can level from 25 to 40, earn up to 31 additional talent points, take on the challenge of Gnomeregan as a new raid dungeon, discover new runes and abilities, and more!

Enter the Gnomeregan Raid Dungeon

Gnomeregan is a 10-player raid dungeon consisting of six bosses–which includes one additional new boss. Each of the previous five bosses have been redesigned to present new challenges within the raid dungeon. This dungeon will also introduce a new world buff.

For the start of the new phase, there are two lockouts on the normal weekly lockout timer. The first reset will occur on February 13 with the second occurring on February 20 during regularly scheduled maintenance.

2024 is underway and it’s a big year for World of Warcraft as the game reaches a milestone 20-year anniversary!

To think that 20 years ago Facebook launched, MySpace was cool, and many of us were playing on a Nintendo DS and a Playstation Portable. Friends aired its final episode and Lost delivered its first. And that same year friends, family, and coworkers started playing a game called World of Warcraft!

It fills my heart that Azeroth has become home to so many different types of people and players around the globe who have shared memorable moments these past two decades. *hugs* As Morpheus cried in Matrix Reloaded (2003, but anyway) “WE are STILL here!” I’m glad I chose this rabbit hole and have never regretted how deep it goes. WoW is my wonderland – all day, every day.

To enter the fray, open Group Finder (hotkey: "I") and then select the Player vs. Player tab. Next choose Quick Match, select Random Battlegrounds or Random Epic Battlegrounds, and hit the Join Battle button—you’ll be matched up with other players and sent to one of these 12 battlegrounds:

Remember the courage and spirit of those who were there at the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj. Speak to Rhonormu near the Scarab Gong outside the gates to enter the correct event phase.

To commemorate the first ringing of the Scarab Gong on January 23, 2006, players will be able to relive a portion of the Ahn’Qiraj gate opening by collecting items for turn-in. The winning faction will then be able to claim bragging rights and have their faction flag hang over the gates until the next Call of the Scarab micro-holiday event. Players who are in a different phase can speak to Rhonormu near the Scarab Gong to enter the correct event phase.
