@BlueBattleHawk great explanation here. We just had a fixed position in the analog trigger response (30%) that was 'on'. Problem is if you ram the trigger to 100%, you really have to let go far (back to 30%) to let off the trigger. If 'on' is a sliding window, way better.
Some of the things we were doing wrong: -Filtering! = smoothing adds response lag, removed it -Deadzones per-axis = wobbly response, treat X/Y together -No outer deadzone = warped shape in corners (want circle) -Analog triggers didn't have windowing giving bad miss-fire feel
@_agoMiST_ @RyanJuckett No, this is input states (also being looked at) - what I've been doing is working on the controller response curve and trigger responses at low level.

Nearly finished the crazy rabbit hole diversion of upgrading Warframe's controller input handling. We were also handling our trigger input in worst way possible! 🤮
