You can't start the game on Steam without updating it first.
If you like the game, you should buy it.

I bought it a year ago and then one day it was gone, i followed every step on the troubleshooting page for android and it didn't work, then sent an email to the dev contact on google play with a screenshot of it in my past purchases. This got the exact same instructions that didn't work the second time either.
