you mean there's was a kingdom of buffalos with rats-only city in it?

  1. Tried to replicate no double stats issue - didn't work. Maybe there's additional step I'm missing? Tried to save/load and restart the game.

  2. Can you check if there's no damage genes in second chromosome?

Thank you

I'm guessing before the patch whenever they spawned their units, if it is the first batch were far away. It would create another subspecies even though it's from the same spawner

So now the spawner will only spawn units of the same subspecies

yep, that's it. Thank you

We are fixing bugs that affect all platforms first. Then we will release the game on mobile.

No it doesn't seem to need to split from a culture for this to happen. I generated a ton of civs and sometimes, this contradiction will show up.

Trying to replicate with spawning, so far no luck hmm

Do you remember if it happened after culture split? u/Timely-Kale3518

That's just balancing. There are evolutions based on biomes etc, and next beta update already has more stuff for it.

So if you think it sucks rn then a mini-update 1.5 years ago only introducing that one little feature without anything else would have sucked even more. That was the point.

That's the opposite of what I meant. Different species do adapt cultures and languages of other species, taking over their naming etc.

Maybe you gotta explore a bit more

Nah, pretty much everything was intertwined with the new subspecies mechanic.

Just shipping languages in a mini-update? "Cheap copy of cultures".

The subspecies traits control a lot now on how the game works and provide the scaffolding for everything else - in a much nicer way than how it was before. Without it it would have been about shipping weak features.
