On a serious note though, u/Moikanyoloko, did you leave a bug report using ALT+B in-game? This should not happen in any circumstances.

<3 Thank you all wholeheartedly for such an amazing support!!! The team is really humbled. Nothing of this would be possible without you guys.

Hello! This is a known (and a quite nasty) bug, the Undead traits are not applied properly after transformation. Fix is already in works, it's coming in one of nearest patches. I'll try to come back later with a more precise ETA.

Sorry, immortal masters of life and death, your time will soon come!

This seems to be a leftover from beta. Rations are no longer needed. Please submit a bug using alt+B.

Thanks, any eta at all on when the lich transformation might be fixed?

Unless the dev team suddenly bumps into something really complicated, within a week is a safe bet.

Yup, folks at the dev team are actively monitoring the feedback with our assistance. And decided to push that a bit earlier as it was already prepared.

Crusaders!
We’ve just uploaded a hotfix (1.0.2g for Windows and 1.0.2f for Mac) for the following issues:

  • Difficulty settings were resetting to default after the 1.0.2e patch - fixed;
  • It was possible to loot the same corpses multiple times - fixed;
  • In the crusade mode, the Necromancy effect only spawned the undead units if there were none in your army - fixed.
To arms!

I had to lose 10+ hours of my save to go back to a state where I hadn't respec'd after choosing the demon path.

Hello! Yes, respec has been reported today to be broken in chapter 3, much so for Demon and Lich. Please avoid using it meanwhile. It's in the known issues and is being investigated.

I just hope patches don’t invalidate my saves. At least not until I finish my first campaign.

There are multiple internal checking and blocking mechanisms to keep save compatibility. So on a global level, no, that absolutely shouldn't happen after the game was released. However, I would still recommend to keep multiple instances of saves, just in case you personally encounter a gamebreaking bug, which your playthough may not be able to recover from after it's fixed. For example when it already allowed you to do something that mechanics shouldn't allow. It should be a very rare situation, but there's always a chance you can be unlucky.

Deleting all files from C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Wrath of the Righteous, except for Saved Games, Portraits and Screenshots, should be enough. Reinstalling the game should not be required.

I know this is unrelated but, is there any idea when charging while mounted will be fixed? I was really dissapointed after seeing I couldnt make a proper cavalier build as half of the time id lose a turn to freezes.

Still WIP. Mounted combat is a new mechanic and unfortunately it's sometimes causing unexpected interactions with older code. Patches will continue coming out every few days, so the waiting shouldn't be too long.

So the lich path turn us in a Skeleton, interesting, but, can we keep our flesh in this path? i'd like to keep my original apparence...

The power has a price! Of course, you can always choose to step back and refuse the gift of immortality, never completing your final transformation. Should you? The choice is yours...
